Great little guest house in a quiet neighborhood of Bangkok. A little far from Kao San Rd, but walking distance to great street food and an open air market. The rooftop was really nice as well. We would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at LoogChoob Homestay for two nights. The location is excellent and easy to get to; we arrived at the Suvarnabhumi Airport and took the Airport Rail Link to Phaya Thai station. From there, we were able to hail a taxi / tuk tuk to the airport. The cost of the taxi / tuk tuk ranged... More

This was our first time in Bangkok and like many others we found it difficult to know where we should stay for location and also for hotel type. We chose Loog Choob based on their photos and on the reviews. Photos and reviews often don't meet expectation but in choosing Loog Choob they were far surpassed. Everything is as presented... More

I stayed here with my wife and twelve year old daughter in January 2016. Just like other posters here, we were really happy we chose to stay at Loog Choob Homestay. The apartment was a great haven of luxury and privacy, with very tasteful modern design features, plenty of space and all comforts taken into account. The family run business... More

We had 2 wonderful stays in Loog Choob: excellent service, extremely helpful staff and owner, spacious and clean room, love for details, cosy common areas, nice roof terrace. The neighbourhood is a bit ruff but has a certain charme, especially the near-by fruit market.

We took our time selecting Bangkok accommodation as 3 nights with 2 adult daughters could go badly wrong. Research paid off.. we struck gold with the family suite in the Loog Choob. Was SO MUCH BETTER than a hotel with plenty of room and washing machine facility and coffee machine and roof top terrace, perfect for sunset drinks. The location... More

Loog Choob is probably one of the best overnight experiences I ever had, it's super classy, awesome bathrooms, lounge areas, roofdeck (!), yet extremely affordable. The location is really really nice if you appreciate the original Bangkok and let yourself drift into the surrounding markets. Just grateful I found this.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights in a junior suite at the Loog Choob. The room and bathroom were outstanding as was the service and helpful documents and maps we were given on arrival. The communal area with coffee and catering facilities was excellent and having access to a communal washing machine and iron and board was a first on... More

This is a gem in the middle of a bustling city. The rooms were clean and so cute. The owner has a wonderful and unique sense of style. There were common areas where she provided bakery for breakfast and delicious coffee. The rooftop isn't high but it's perfect for hanging out and enjoying the view. The owner and her uncle... More

We loved the look of this place. Very cool, very stylish, but still very comfortable. The owners were very forthcoming and helpful. We always had some issues with taxi drivers, so the owners would graciously write down our destination in Thai for us. Very helpful! Clean place, nice views.

Staying in Dusit

Neighborhood Profile
Dusit
When wandering around the Dusit Palace grounds, you'd almost forget you're still in a Southeast-Asian city. The Renaissance-style buildings and leafy gardens wouldn't be out of place in an European capital, and the serenity here is in stark contrast with the chaotic city life outside of its complex walls. Dusit is one of Bangkok's oldest districts, and while the rest of Bangkok is modernising at a rapid pace, Dusit seems to have stood the test of time. Come here to find family businesses in traditional shophouses, small-scale local markets and streets unfazed by modern city life.
