After an extended two-week stay at In Residence on Soi 13, it is safe to say that one has an informed opinion. For me, the property ticked off all the boxes necessary for me to have a new "go-to" home in Bangkok. The room: a very spacious, one-bedroom "residence" that was well-appointed and made for a sense of comfort when... More

Booked a suite room which was roomy and consisted of living area, kitchen and then bed/bathroom. Great reception staff and very helpful in organising taxis and helping when my bag didn't make it to Bangkok. Just a short walk to the Main Street where you can easily get the sky train to anywhere you fancy! Also nearby soi 11 which... More

Was here for 5 days of work and pleasure. The hotel is modern and clean. I agree with some other reviews that say that hotel maintenance is lacking in a few areas but over all I give it a thumbs up. My 1 bedroom was very large, loved the bed and bathroom. The Tuk Tuk is nice to get to... More

Fantastic overall experience. While the hotel was a little off the beaten path, the short walk was well worth the effort for the value. The staff was excellent, everyone I dealt was extremely friendly and helpful. Hard to image better service. Te rooms were large and clean. Beds were very comfortable pillows to match. Will definitely stay there again on... More

The ups first- this hotel is conveniently located in the Sukumvit area and is just about 5 and 10 mins walk away from the Nana and Asok BTS station respectively. The hotel also offers a free tuk tuk service to these two spots. There are plenty of food, shopping and massage choices nearby, which is really nice. Staff members polite... More

First Class Hotel, First Class Service and advice - particurlarly by Goodie at the reception who gave me a lot of valuable Information. Best price-quality-relationship in Bangkok - much beyond expectations and rating. Not only large rooms, but also very good maintenance. Convincing and as well surprisingly good breakfast.

This hotel is a well managed hotel in the heart of all the hustle and bustle of Bangkok! When you step through to reception you are welcomed by very friendly staff and first class standards for cleanliness. Hotel rooms are amazingly spacious and very safe! You need to swipe your card to enter the lifts (this is a great security... More

This was our first stop in Bangkok, it was a great hotel. Overall this hotel offers friendly staff, clean environment, clean rooms, and good food. Definitely bang for your buck. We were even upgraded to the suite, because it was our honeymoon! The only thing we didn't really like was the location of the hotel. It was located in an... More

Excellent hotel with a very friendly cooperative and accommodating staff. Im a regular here now and wouldnt dream of staying anywhere else. The spa on the 9th floor is a welcome addition...now even less reason to step out. Thank you In Residence.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
