The hotel was not what I would expect. The towels in our room were practically grey and worn out because of age. When we asked, they were changed to a slightly newer and less smelly version - but still far from acceptable. The first day, we did not have our room cleaned and were told that we had a 'do... More

I have been there many times. I love that hotel, but this time I dont really this hotel service because the manager is not good. I booked 2 nights via the website and the next day I extended via at the counter. The manager (Homie) was helping with the payment. I told Homie that I might check out early due... More

I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and I have to say the staff are excellent. friendly and helpful. The rooms are consistently good standard. This is real value for money. I will continue to stay at this hotel. I leave bags there when I travel away from Bangkok for days at a time and the staff are... More

We only spend one night as we needed a nights rest after the flight from Sydney and our planned hotel was fully booked. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We ordered room service breakfast 250Baht ea, pricey but tastey. Overall enjoyable and would recommend.

Just checked in to the hotel, was after a room with a double bed.(i'm a big guy and find single beds claustrophobic) i have a long discussion with both the receptionist, and the supervisor about this. My request was that i was going to be moved to a room with a double bed when a room was available. The supervisor... More

Hotel interior and room are pleasant and modern. Staff are helpful and welcoming. Good people. Five minute walk to main street (Sukhumvit Rd). Shops close by. While I was there, the staff were holding a Halloween party, and they put their hearts into it! Very touching and entertaining! A bit scary, too. I'd happily go back. Greg Martiensen, Australia.

My stay at Skyy Hotel was a pleasant and highly enjoyable time. The hotel is right next to Nana soi 3 which made it very easy to access things at all hours. The rooms were very clean and had all the basic requirements for boutique hotel. Price was well worth the money and the food was excellent in the lobby... More

I had ordered two rooms and at check in was told to come back a bit later for the room for the friends I was hosting. I came back three hours later and was told they had sold my friends' room to a long stay customer. They said not to worry because they would find another hotel for my friends.... More

We made a recommendation based on Bumrungrad's hospital location and web site listing. We also made our reservation over a month in advance. The morning of arrival I called to confirm the reservation, and based on the phone conversation everything was fine. Then around 8:45pm we arrived. The lobby was very well decorated. Reception area had a couple families that... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
