This was my first trip to Bangkok. I heard a lot about how busy it is, and I was concerned about the location of this gem of a Boutique Hotel being so close to Democracy Monument, Khaosan street and Grand Palace. But, I couldn't be happier with how quite and quaint it is! The building itself is so beautifully constructed... More

This beautiful place is absolutely fascinating. I'd never imagined I could find the peaceful place in the concrete jungle like Bangkok. That reason amazes and attracts me to visit Baan Noppawong once I heard the reputation. Here you can find green peace at the back yard. Walk into the entrance, you will be surprised by the unique decors and interior.... More

Perfect place for someone looking to get an experience which is closer to a Thai culture rather than a shiny generic hotel. The hotel is in a very pleasant house of a wealthy (at least historically) family. It is very beautiful, clean, very well maintained house. Shower was a bit highlight, an important feature in such a heat. Owners are... More

I'm surprised with all the 5* reviews. The pros: Lovely building and decorative. Considering the location very quiet, and compared with nearby highly rated properties it is very close to Grand Palace area, but Cons: Room too small to have an open suitcase & nowhere to hang stuff. The Bathroom just a concrete block attached to room, painted green to... More

We stayed 1 night in Baan Noppawong. The house is beautiful, but nothing more. The room was a camber as well the bath "room". The staff was friendly but speaks hardly no english and feelt not really responsible for our check-in or wishes. In the high price was the breakfast NOT included. It's is price not worth.

A beautiful home straight out of history with all your modern needs. Clean and quaint, a nice escape from hustle and bustle of Bangkok. A keen eye to details: Jim Thompson silk covered pillows and a silk bag for the hair dryers, coffee cups from royal porcelain kingdom of Thailand. Beautifully chosen artwork and simple but authentic teak furnishings. Surrounding... More

I stayed in Baan Noppawong in November 2014 and I had a really wonderful time. The price was very reasonable considering the excellent service provided and the high quality room we received. Location The location was close by to Koh San Road, and it didn’t take us long walk there. The location was also close to many bus stops, so... More

We stayed there 3 nights The hotel is located in a very quiet alley (little hard to find, go through the mercedes garage) and we can't hear the traffic. The house was very well renovated and our room was beautiful (in the house in the rear, upstairs). The breakfast was good, too bad that for the price there is no... More

Great location, easy walk to Khao San road, taxis and tuk turks. Teeny tiny room, no hanging space, very noisy from 5am onwards. Not the hotel's fault but cats, an aviary next door and an unidentified generator type noise all conspired to stop lazy mornings! Breakfast distinctly average, served on a terrace in very poor condition. Very dirty sunshades, rotten... More

Baan Noppawong is a lovely Thai house style hotel in central Bangkok. Its location is handy for many of the temples and of course the somewhat dubious delights of Khaosan Road. The staff are friendly, welcoming and willing to help out with arranging transport or providing directions. A nice touch was the email we received a few weeks before our... More
