This hotel is perfect for seclusion and tastefulness. As a traditional Thai house of not inconsiderable heritage, its rooms are cool and welcoming and provide peace and calm away from the street bustle. Nice little house dog by the name of Bibi keeps the guests company too, and the management are both decorous and very obliging. A place to revisit.

Stayed here two weeks ago to explore old bangkok for a weekend getaway. Fell in love with place. Set in a fully renovated thai house and run by the family who also lives in the compound, it has been exquisitely refurbished and decorated. Although it's been running for five years,it's very clean and very new as if just open yesterday.... More

Perfect hotel for couples and quiet people. It's more than a hotel...looks like a guest house! Wooden built, cozy rooms, amazing bathroom... Located near Kao San Road, you won't be able to hear any sound from the streets...oh...excepting all kind of birds...pure nature in the middle of Bangkok! If you're finding party and noise, this is not your place..

We discovered this little gem as its close to Khaosan, the backpacker and student mile in Bangkok. Yet, we were pleasantly surprised that despite its proximity to a major road, it was absolutely quite there. The team of Baan Noppawong did a great job in hosting us. The rooms and the houses have a nice decor. The shower was great.... More

Great decor, retro, 50's style and earlier, beautiful. Location is good, easy to get a tuk tuk, difficult tho for taxi's to find. Breakfast is ok, nothing amazing. Love how beautiful the gardens and room were, but it was a little noisy with residents above. We would book a top floor room next time.

This was my first trip to Bangkok. I heard a lot about how busy it is, and I was concerned about the location of this gem of a Boutique Hotel being so close to Democracy Monument, Khaosan street and Grand Palace. But, I couldn't be happier with how quite and quaint it is! The building itself is so beautifully constructed... More

This beautiful place is absolutely fascinating. I'd never imagined I could find the peaceful place in the concrete jungle like Bangkok. That reason amazes and attracts me to visit Baan Noppawong once I heard the reputation. Here you can find green peace at the back yard. Walk into the entrance, you will be surprised by the unique decors and interior.... More

Perfect place for someone looking to get an experience which is closer to a Thai culture rather than a shiny generic hotel. The hotel is in a very pleasant house of a wealthy (at least historically) family. It is very beautiful, clean, very well maintained house. Shower was a bit highlight, an important feature in such a heat. Owners are... More

I'm surprised with all the 5* reviews. The pros: Lovely building and decorative. Considering the location very quiet, and compared with nearby highly rated properties it is very close to Grand Palace area, but Cons: Room too small to have an open suitcase & nowhere to hang stuff. The Bathroom just a concrete block attached to room, painted green to... More

We stayed 1 night in Baan Noppawong. The house is beautiful, but nothing more. The room was a camber as well the bath "room". The staff was friendly but speaks hardly no english and feelt not really responsible for our check-in or wishes. In the high price was the breakfast NOT included. It's is price not worth.
