We stayed here for four nights while in Bangkok. The place was clean and had a decent sized room. The shower was small but did have hot water although at first I wasn't able to figure out how to use it! View from the widow was to the river but the smell from it wasn't great. AC worked well. The... More

Located around 15 minutes walk from Kho San Rd it's easily accessible without the noise of being right on the strip. Our flight got in very late but after emailing ahead they were fine with a 1am check-in. Staff were friendly and English was ok to get by. Room was basic but had all the essentials, private shower, a/c, fridge,... More

I stayed at the Smile Inn for 3 nights. The room was very small and a little bit dirty. The worst thing was the terrible smell coming outside of the shower drain. The smell wasn't there 24 hours a day, but most of the time when i was inside the room. Small ants where crawling around my bed and some... More

It is a great place to stay in Bangkok. It's located on a very quiet street about 15min walk from Khaosan Road. The rooms are always clean, the bed is comfortable, staff is always smiling and helpful. Definitely worth its value.

A very reasonably priced budget hotel. The room was a good size, very clean, nicely decorated and included a fridge. The bathroom was very small and in the wet room style with the shower over the toilet - common in budget hotels across Asia. They emailled us a helpful map when we made our booking which our taxi driver needed... More

woman who spoke the best english was very nice and helpful. the rooms were very good for their price - only problem was the size of the bathroom. Shame it is quite far from anything except the golden mount but that didn't stop us walking 20 mins to khao san. value for money and friendly to an extent.

Nice and clean rooms, but far to walk to Khao San rd. Also staff OK, but one guy is terrible, gives you a feeling that you should be there for him and not the other way around. Would recomend if you have time to walk and if you know local language.

It was my intention to stay at Smile Inn a long time as it was the best-located option for my business in Bangkok. However, I moved out after just a few days. Unless you have to stay in that part of town for whatever reason, DON'T! It is not in and of itself terrible - and interesting to visit for... More
