We had three rooms here in January 2016. It's not an ideal tourist location, but the rate reflects that and it's very good value for money. Rooms are quite small and, for me, the main issue with that is the fact that the beds comprise a mattress on top of a large wooden frame - and the frame extends approx... More

They forgot our welcome drink while the next guests 5 min later all got one eventhough it was in the terms on booking.com. What I really found rude is that instead of charging me for the room in baht they charged it to me in Euro's (which you have to agree to normally). I had to find out on my... More

This is a nice, clean and reasonably priced hotel on Si Lom road. My wife and I stayed here for a night while flying through Bangkok on our way to Krabi. It's about 30 mins from Suvarnabhoomi airport. It's a nice short walk to Patpong night market and the nightlife in that area. Si Lom market which is 5 mins... More

Nice hotel for a short stay, friendly staff and good breakfast. Rooms are clean and quite good value. Plenty of Thai culture around the area with street food and Thai restaurants. Not allot to do in Silom but you can always take a tuk tuk around Bangkok. (Watch out the tuk tuk drivers will try and overcharge or get you to... More

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. We were checked in upon arrival, though it was still early morning. The staff was polite and efficient, the hotel was clean, so was our room. The only dirty thing there was the shower curtain, but the spaciousness of the shower made up for it (since it didn't cling to the body and... More

We got quite lucky on the day we arrived that it was not that busy in the hotel, the receptionist decided Rogier us an upgrade. Beautiful hotel with very nice and modern room. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. They helped us to book taxi for the airport and made sure that Te taxi arrived early morning. Highly recommended !

Nice and modern hotel in the middle of Silom, not far from night activities. Friendly stuff, clean rooms. Excellent ratio of price and quality. Breakfasts were very poor but DEAN & DeLUCA cafe just a few minutes walk.

Enchanted by the chaos of Bangkok, Amber Boutique Silom was our calm for a week and a half. The front desk staff was very friendly and tried their best to understand and be understood. Wi, the hotel's manager went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and safe while traveling around the country. Off the beaten path,... More

The location is not ideal for a tourist. Exit from Chong Nonsi and take about 8-9 minutes walk. Is far from most of the attraction, shopping and eating places. The room can only be describe by a word ' Simple' . Is just a place to sleep and don't expect anything more. Wifi is unstable. I have been staying here... More

It is a good hotel, but not what we were looking for. The room is nice and clean, breakfast and shower could be better. We asked for a double bed, and we got two single beds pushed together. We ended up checking out earlier to stay at another hotel. It was our honeymoon and we were looking for something special... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
