Not a bad location at all but not the most comfortable of hotels as it is more of a concrete slab, although it was all we needed for our short stay. No issues with the staff, but definitely not as helpful and friendly as everywhere else we stayed through Asia! Might consider again for a short stay only.

Good location, near to Khao San Road, still very noisy at night even though we had no window, but this was expected. The rooms look a bit gloomy due to the grey stone walls and floor, but it was clean, the bed was comfy, air con worked well and had a safety deposit box and a fridge and kettle. We... More

Good location for Ko San Road, not good for children, rooms felt more like prison cells, dark and gloomy, air con was terrible, even the rooms with windows were looking straight into someone's home, the reception staff, we're offering there services to a member of our party ???? Suitable for 1 night stay if you are desperate

Great location. Great price. Clean room. Facilities basic but do have access to pool, gym and spa at sister hotel literally 5 mins walk down koh San road. No windows which is a shame but only stayed 2 nights so not an issue for us. Good air con. Friendly staff. Bag storage after check out.

I spent 3 nights at BBI. It is Just off Ko San which makes it for a great location without it being too noisy. Be aware that the pool is not directly at à BBI but rather at another location (5 minutes walk) on Ko San.

According to the staff the AC was working, but we couldn't notice it at all.It was the same temperature outside as inside. the fact that the room didn't have any windows wasn't helpful.Wee didn't get a lot of sleep. In addition to that the staff was very loud in the morning.even though... More

Hotel is placed in a great location just at the top of Khao San Road, close enough to walk yet not too close to hear the music all night if you were staying in. Only downside was that our hotel room did not have windows so the room did get quite stuffy at times. Would stay in this hotel again... More

I'm giving this a good review if you are a back packer only. It's a great location. Very noisy until 2am. Also the air con isn't very good . Very warm. Room clean though and staff helpful. Only stay if you are not bothered about getting a good night sleep.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
