Solo female, first time in Bangkok. I booked my first two nights in the orange room. My only regret is that I wasn't able to stay longer. The rooms are charming, the view is incredible, the staff was welcoming and helpful (they recommended TEP Bike Tours which was a highlight of my visit), and the food was great. Location was... More

Stayed in two rooms as did a last minute booking so had to change after a night. Everyone was so helpful, writing Thai addresses and instructions for the useless Bangkok taxis.... Very friendly, everyone staying there was friendly and happy. Very cool chill out areas with wonderful views over the river. Had a very happy stay, good breakfast and most... More

Everything about this hotel was wonderful -- AMAZING service, delicious breakfast, GORGEOUS rooms with FANTASTIC views, PERFECT location (easy access to metro for rest of the city, trains for out of city tours, and boats to Grand Palace). It is difficult to find as it is within temple grounds, but they provide you with a map in English and in... More

.. All my life, I've always wanted to live by the river, The Chao Phraya River that is. Loy La Long Hotel helped me realize my dream in such a stylish way!!! This small and sweet hotel hides herself nicely inside an old Buddhist temple which makes the stay even more extraordinary - being surrounded by the monastic residence. The... More

This hotel was by far one of the coolest, albeit hard to find, hotels we stayed at in Bangkok. Sadly, we were only there for an evening...if we weren't flying overseas the next day, I would have extended my stay just to experience the hotel more. The hotel is literally on the river, as you will see when you hear... More

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The location is great right on the river and away from the city hustle. We had the Black room so could watch the boats go by from our bed. The hotel itself is very unique and has great common areas where you can relax and watch the activity along the river. The top deck... More

Unfortunately we could only stay one night but this is probably my favourite hotel i've stayed in. Although it's in China town it's so peaceful and the staff go out of their way to help you. If You get the chance make sure you stay here.

Of the five hotels we stayed in our two week trip to Thailand, this was by far the best. I especially liked the cultural touches and the location, a 5 minute walk to Chinatown. It is cozy and picturesque, as well as comfortable. The white room is like a duplex, with a "hidden" door to the upper terrace that my... More
