I stayed there in June 2013 but when I tried to write the review, I could not select it anymore, so i picked June 2014. It is a very nice place and I got a very clean room. The staff was very polite. The included breakfast was more than I what expected. This pace got an EXCELLENT!!! Congratulations!

My partner and I stayed here for our first 3 nights in Bangkok and loved it. It is in a great location, so close to the Khao San Road, but not too close, only a ten minute walk. Definitely get the guesthouse and address written out in Thai, it makes it so much easier! The staff is so friendly and... More

I booked Sivarin Guesthouse under Hostelworld.com. Sivarin Guesthouse e-mail me their address written in Thai language, easy for the taxi driver to find the place. Thank you for their thoughtfulness. We stayed there for 2 nights. The first impression is " such a clean guesthouse". Room is spacious, air-corn is cold, wi-fi speed average. Breakfast is provided. The only inconvenience... More

We stayed at Sivarin Guesthouse 2 nights, we originally booked 3 nights through hostelbooker but didn't realize we were flying at night so arrived a day later, the owner was understanding and only made us pay for 2 nights which was really appreciated. Room was clean with 2 big windows (so heaps of light even with Bangkok's grey sky), sheets... More

Traveled in September 2014 with my wife. We stayed here for a total of 4 nights. We paid just under $20/night for a private room. The staff is more than just super friendly. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Our room was very spacious, even with the king bed, dual night stands and 2 desks.... More

We had a very good time at Sivarin! The rooms are clean and tidy, the shared bathroom always clean and the breakfast quite nice. The location is perfect as it's off the busy main road but very close to the busy night life. The best thing about Sivarin was the super sweet and helpful receptionist.

This guesthouse is very good! The hostess is a really friendly, nice young woman, who helps you with everything. The rooms are very clean and good, included with airconditioning (what you really need here).

This place is great and made even better by the helpful and smiling staff. Provided with towel and soap shampoo and contidioner. The place was clean and also had a free computer for use with free printing if under a certain amount of pages which is good if you have to print off any plane tickets. They were very helpful... Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
