The room is huge: living room, bedroom, kitchen with big freezer, bathroom. I guess it would be a perfect value for someone who needs to stay in Bangkok for a few weeks / months. The owner is very nice and helpful. The location could be slightly better: you have to walk 20 minutes to get to the closest metro station.... More

First the positives: The location is superb. Easy walking distance to the BTS south line and an excellent variety of street eats (Suan Phlu road and north end of Convent road). Laundry lady around the corner and hundreds of 7/11s and pharmacies around. Also centrally located to some of the best rooftop bars in Bangkok. The room we had was... More

Location: Area in which it is located is perfect! However, it is in a small lane from the main road and could be a problem to find without assistance. Rooms: Rooms are huge for the price you pay. I enjoyed the space it offered, storage and furniture were more than adequate Service: This is where they let me down. First... More

We stayed here 3 nights after landing in Bangkok. We had a large room on the ground floor with kitchen sink, fridge, microwave, large bathroom with good hot water, large firm (but not hard by Asian standards) bed. 10-15 minute walk to silom road for good food selection, mrt and srt stations. Will stay here again.

The location is good, the staff is also good. The room was hygienic and you have everything available inside the room. A Refrigerator, a microwave and a TV. The space is good enough. There is a small sitting area as well :) Overall good experience.

This place is okay if, like me, you're just staying one night. It's pretty well located - not far from Si Lon - and has everything you might need in the way of facilities (and of course it's pretty low cost) but it is dark (small windows) and appears to be a converted former office block. The lights are still... More

I stayed in an executive suite which was very reasonably priced. Lounge area, kitchenette and bedroom. Beautiful decor. Short walk or moto ride to either MRT or BTS. Friendly staff. Highly recommended

A friend and I staid here for 2nights. The location is good! Close to others hotels and shops. There is a 7/11 close by where they sell the most major things you would need! It is in a safe and quiet place and it is easy to get around the city. The rooms are big and clean, and you get... More

This was an interesting place to stay from which to explore Bangkok. It was a very large room, which was nice, and everything worked well. The room felt a little well worn, which wnded up being kind of charming qhen we realized that it is a traditional thai set up with raised portions of the floor between rooms, etc. There... More

My husband and I just spent 3 nights at this hotel. I had a travel accessory bag containing items I use to sleep at night (ear plugs, eye masks, creams etc). On the third night before going to bed I went to retrieve items from it and we couldn't find it. Please note this bag was in the room during... More

Staying in Sathorn

Neighborhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
