We stayed here last December and enjoyed it. The room is so clean and spacious. The towels were designed in elephant style. When we went out you can see a lot of food and shops. I enjoyed the street food. I loved phad thai. I enjoyed the night life along the street 😀

This place is basically on old school guest house with a face lift. If you must or for some unimaginable reason stay in the area there are probably much worse places. For over all value though I would say way over priced. The rooms look alright, every works, but its still a noisy cramped place, forget about the balconies unless... More

Avoid! Rude staff who couldn't care less that we did not get room booked. Refused a refund (as had prepaid when booking). The walls were paper-thin and we could hear people next door in excruciating detail all night. The balcony had a tiny table and two small folding chairs, but it was covered in hot air conditioning machinery and a... More

Sakul House is a very good hotel. Highly recommendable!! An excellent option for night life and near everything you need during the day. It is even within walking distance from the most important temples. The staff are friendly but perhaps they should be able to give more information about how to move around and what to do and see. Beware!... More

This was our first stop on our travels. Well placed in centre of Bangkok beside Koh San Road but far enough away for a peaceful sleep. Room was nice & clean. AC worked well & water in the fridge. Fairly expensive when compared to other places we have stayed in Thailand which were cheaper & nicer but seems fair rate... More

I'm on a 2 week vacation from Bangkok to Phuket. This was our first stop. It was clean with air conditioning and nice enough. Bangkok is pricier than the islands to stay and seems a little less for your money generally. Staff were really nice when we arrived but we checked out early and had a late departure which we... The room was ok, but the service was terrible. The staff especially the security guards was so rude to us. This hotel was the worst hotel I ever stayed. And they are not allow any outside guest from outside to come to your room and they did not give us any notice about that. And the manager, still charges us... More

I'm writing this review as my husband and I relax in our room to escape to sweltering April heat. This is our 4th hotel while in Thailand and the only one to put padding on the mattress. It's not the softest, but it makes the mattress more comfortable than the standard bricks most places have. This hotel is smack in... More

Ate here an hour ago. I more wanted to get away from the Songkran water fight on the street than I wanted food ! I ordered a 600ml bottle of Chang at 120 baht. Side order of boiled white rice 40 baht and a Chicken Pad Thai. Arrived quickly and was good ! Free wifi too. They do rooms here... More

This is our second stay at Sakul House, we really like the street this hotel is located on, some great resturants/cafes/street vendors and drinking spots. As with our previous stay, the rooms are just like the photos and our only problem with noise were the guys staying in they room next to us, but hey its holidays.
