I stayed at this hostel back in September 2014. I think the location is great and the staff are very helpful and very approachable. The facilities are really good, I didn't stay into a shared room but into a deluxe room which is like a normal hotel room which was great. The breakfast is not that good but everything else... More

I opted not to stay near Khao San road as many had advised against it. This hostel is just off Silom road in the business district. It's a 100 baht to get to Khao San so don't stress. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The communal area was great place to meet fellow travelers. I stayed in a 6-sleeper dorm.... More

Saphaipae is a hostel with almost hotel facilities. I stayed here for 3 nights in the 6 bed dorm and the place is like what it was mentioned in other comments - SUPER CLEAN. The beds are relaxing with sheets changed daily. The washrooms are also cleaned periodically. Breakfast is quite average of choices, but filling enough. The place is... More

My boyfriend and I travelled with 6 friends and spent a week at this hostel. We had our own private room that came with a desk and chair, 2 safes, 2 beds, television, clothing rack with hangers, and a lounge chair with side table. This was our first stay ever in a hostel, and we were pleasantly surprised. The breakfast... More

We stayed in the deluxe double room on the top floor (8th floor) of the building. We were totally impressed by the room. A friend visited us in the morning, and he was impressed too. Spacious room, big and comfy bed, flat screen TV, mini bar, fridge, DVD player, safe - amazing! The attached bathroom is also ridiculously spacious, with... More

One of the best things about this place is the location, as in, not on Khao San Road. You are only a 5 minute walk from the sky-train station, which is critical if you really want to see Bangkok on a budget. Also only a short walk from the boat terminal. The free pool table, slew of computers, coin laundry,... More

Overall everything was awesome! Staff are super nice & always willing to help. Rooms & shared bathroom is kept clean. Super easy to get to and cheap if arriving from Bangkok airport, the website gives you exact directions on where to go. Defiantly recommend!

Central location and close to the sky train. Staff are helpful and friendly. Room was fantastic and the place is very clean. Breakfast is a buffet which isn't great but hey....and the atmosphere isn't that good because its so big but anyway defo recommend this place.

nice, clean, secure place. Really big so didn't seem to have much of an atmosphere. Not much walking distance but really close to MRT and the ferry which goes to all the main tourist attractions. Staff could have been more knowledgable about things e.g. Trains leaving bangkok.
