Booked 3 nights here for when I landed at bangkok. The hostels decor and amenities are great, very clean. But thats where it ends for me! As a solo traveller the hostel didn't encourage people to mix and locals like police from across the road just come in to chill and use the pool table. Maybe if they put some... More

Very nice to stay in Bangkok. The best thing is.......... next to BTS Station Surasak Road, walk about 10 - 15 minutes to Oriental Pier, walk 3 minutes to Seven Eleven and near to Asiatique Riverfront. I love the way they serve us a breakfast. They give diferrent breakfast menu everyday for free. Feels like in a hotel. I paid... More

My friend and I stayed at Saphaipae as it was recommended by a friend. It was amazing! The rooms are very clean as are the bathrooms and common areas. The beds were comfortable, there were lockers in the room (bring a lock!) and there were many electrical outlets (with both North American/European plugs). The buffet breakfast was perfect and the... This place is so great. We were telling people we met while travelling to stay here because of how awesome it is. It has a lot of common space to chill out and use the computers. The breakfast was pretty good and had many options to try. This is your best option! We talked to other travelers who said they... More

The best hostel I've stayed in. Lovely, friendly staff. Endless facilities. Great location - a walks distance to the sky train, ferrys and silom area (bars, patpong, restaurants, shopping etc). Huge hostel with lots of room. Laundry room available to do your washing. Tv room and great DVD selection free of charge for chilled evenings. Extremely comfortable beds and lockers... More

Wow. Just wow. Loved it. We actually stayed here twice while backpacking around SE Asia and loved it each time. It's clean, cool, fun, breakfast is great, the facilities are great, and it is easy to access the sky train and river taxis. The hostel is a little more flashpacker than backpacker, but you can choose to stay here in... More

We started our Southeast Asia trip here and there were not many places that we stayed in after that could live up to it. Clean rooms, quite comfortable beds, an industrial level looking A/C, TV for entertainment, a spacious lounge room with computers to use and a pool table, and an amazing morning breakfast. This place had it all, except... More

Saphaipae is a very nice hostel price/quality. The staff is nice and helpful, you have the air train 10 min walking a police station right opposite to the hostel, a market very closed by and some nice restaurants. The bathroom was always very clean and our room too.

We have taken a double bedroom on the 4th floor. Mattresses are queen size (each) and the room had air-conditioning: in truth, not extremely powerful, but enough to cool down the heat. Personnel is friendly, and the hostel has a desk to help you eventually planning your trip to Cambodia. Bathrooms are clean, as well as the rest of the... More

Saphaipae was clean, had lots of interesting travellers, good location and the beds were really comfortable. We went during song kran so the atmosphere was amazing, late night chats with fellow backpackers. Loved it!!
