We had a great stay at Khaosan Baan Thai, the host was very friendly and more than willing to help us with whatever we needed, from airport transfers, luggage storage and restaurant bookings. The guesthouse is located on a quiet street about 10mins walk from Khaosan road which is great as you don't get disturbed by that whole scene. The... More

I stayed with my family of four for two nights in the beginning of July. It's a good deal for the price. The pros: close to Khaosan Rd, friendly and helpful staff, rooms with air con and wifi access. The cons: shared bathroom.

Located very close to he khaosan rd, but still very quiet and tucked away. Initially sent us a confirmation email for the wrong days, but responded quickly with the right dates when I questioned. Staff were v friendly although only one member spoke good English, she gave us lots of local information unfortunately in the room we stayed in, although... More

This was my second time staying here, the first was 3 years ago in an air con room. This time I booked late and there was only room left, with fan only. Unfortunately it was upstairs and the heat was unbearable. We had 3 fans blowing directly on us and they felt like blow torches. It was probably 95 degrees... More

The hostel feels very homely just what you need after an 18 hour flight. We stayed here three nights and would recommend it to anyone coming to bangkok. The place cannot be faulted in cleanliness and has both hot and cold water for showering - however I do not know why anyone would want a hot shower in 40 degree... More

Though the Khaosan road is usually so busy with many young and old tourists from all over the world, this place is not really disturbing. It is just few distance from the Grand palce and Wat Pho. The place is nice and quite

We stayed here for two nights. It was our first accommodation in S.E.Asia. It's in a great location just up the road from khaosan road. But in a quiet street. You can walk to the grand palace & Wat Pho (reclining Buddha) & then cross the river for Wat Arun. The rooms are nice & clean.walls are very thin! You... More

The location is perfect, lovely staff, clean rooms......this place I can recommend 100 %!! Bars and markets are in walking distance. All other places you can reach easily by tuck tuck. Don't forget to negotiate. That place is perfect for 1-3 nights. They have a washing machine and dryer.

The Pro: I really liked the overall feel that the place gave. Well decorated and unique. Toilet and bathrooms are clean. Front house was really friendly and helpful in giving tips and directions to where we wanted to go. Since my partner and I was at Bangkok during the Bangkok Shutdown, they were nice enough to tell us what are... More

We arrived at this hotel on our first trip to Bangkok. The staff are so friendly and will do anything they can to help you! The hotel is made of wood which is lovely and authentic. Great place to stay if you want to a taste of Thailand close to Khoasan road, but far enough to be away from the... More
