My friends and I stayed at the guesthouse for 2 nights. We had a very welcoming reception and didnt have any waiting around to do which was great after a long flight. The staff are very friendly and were able to help us with anything we needed. The rooms arent fancy but are ideal for a short stay and kept... More

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We initially planned to stay for 4 nights but changed our plans last minute; we emailed the hotel and were told this was not a problem. The room itself was a good size and very pretty. The beds were two mattresses on the floor which were okay, but not... More

Very well located about 5 mins walk from Khao San road so it's nice and quiet. The only noise then is that of other guests with the paper-thin walls. Breakfast is average but does the job and for the price is fine. Everything is nice and clean and wifi is good.

This guesthouse is great if you are after a bargain- £12 per night for two for an air conditioned room is not too shabby! It is basic though- the mattresses are hard and you have to share the bathroom, which can be an issue if someone is showering and you need the loo! The location is great- a short walk... More

We had a great stay at Khaosan Baan Thai, the host was very friendly and more than willing to help us with whatever we needed, from airport transfers, luggage storage and restaurant bookings. The guesthouse is located on a quiet street about 10mins walk from Khaosan road which is great as you don't get disturbed by that whole scene. The... More

I stayed with my family of four for two nights in the beginning of July. It's a good deal for the price. The pros: close to Khaosan Rd, friendly and helpful staff, rooms with air con and wifi access. The cons: shared bathroom.

Located very close to he khaosan rd, but still very quiet and tucked away. Initially sent us a confirmation email for the wrong days, but responded quickly with the right dates when I questioned. Staff were v friendly although only one member spoke good English, she gave us lots of local information unfortunately in the room we stayed in, although... More

This was my second time staying here, the first was 3 years ago in an air con room. This time I booked late and there was only room left, with fan only. Unfortunately it was upstairs and the heat was unbearable. We had 3 fans blowing directly on us and they felt like blow torches. It was probably 95 degrees... More

The hostel feels very homely just what you need after an 18 hour flight. We stayed here three nights and would recommend it to anyone coming to bangkok. The place cannot be faulted in cleanliness and has both hot and cold water for showering - however I do not know why anyone would want a hot shower in 40 degree... More

Though the Khaosan road is usually so busy with many young and old tourists from all over the world, this place is not really disturbing. It is just few distance from the Grand palce and Wat Pho. The place is nice and quite
