What an awesome place to stay! It's clean and simple. The people working there helped me to get my bag back, which stayed behind in Hong Kong. Being in an affordable part of Bangkok, it makes for a wonderful experience.

Great price for a great location in the old center of the city. Rooms are clean and cosy. Nothing luxurious and bathroom are in hallway but everything is very clean. People working there are very friendly and helpful. They respond to emails very fast as well. Breakfast is not luxurious as well (two eggs, sausage, toast and butter/honey) but again,... More

Situated in a lovely quiet area yet close to the bustling tourist area of Khaosan Rd (10 min walk away), this guesthouse offers the perfect location in Bangkok. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was first rate - much better than many other PAID breakfasts we've experienced! The room was great (we had pink room), the only... More

My friends and I stayed at the guesthouse for 2 nights. We had a very welcoming reception and didnt have any waiting around to do which was great after a long flight. The staff are very friendly and were able to help us with anything we needed. The rooms arent fancy but are ideal for a short stay and kept... More

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We initially planned to stay for 4 nights but changed our plans last minute; we emailed the hotel and were told this was not a problem. The room itself was a good size and very pretty. The beds were two mattresses on the floor which were okay, but not... More

Very well located about 5 mins walk from Khao San road so it's nice and quiet. The only noise then is that of other guests with the paper-thin walls. Breakfast is average but does the job and for the price is fine. Everything is nice and clean and wifi is good.

This guesthouse is great if you are after a bargain- £12 per night for two for an air conditioned room is not too shabby! It is basic though- the mattresses are hard and you have to share the bathroom, which can be an issue if someone is showering and you need the loo! The location is great- a short walk... More

We had a great stay at Khaosan Baan Thai, the host was very friendly and more than willing to help us with whatever we needed, from airport transfers, luggage storage and restaurant bookings. The guesthouse is located on a quiet street about 10mins walk from Khaosan road which is great as you don't get disturbed by that whole scene. The... More

I stayed with my family of four for two nights in the beginning of July. It's a good deal for the price. The pros: close to Khaosan Rd, friendly and helpful staff, rooms with air con and wifi access. The cons: shared bathroom.
