In a prime spot a walk away from almost everything, Lub D's best point is its location. The rest though is all a matter of preference and personal comfort. We found the room very cramped and as we got a private room, we thought it would be roomier than their standard dorm rooms. Woke up to the view of a... More

Booked for double deluxe for 3 nights. Room given with no tv. We are quite disappointed with this. Very. Staff gave 3 days complementary breakfast. Got to know it will be just a croissant, coffee and biscuit. Wifi signal intermittent. Staff not be blamed. Management should see to this, especially on the management of rooms with and without tv. Great... More

Staff acted nice enough but charged me double the price quoted on the Internet. No towel in room like they said. And the wifi is atrocious. Good central location but thats about it. If you value honesty and not being gouged, avoid!

Very good location, shopping centres, food courts and bars just around the corner! The rooms are very clean and with big lockers. The shared bathrooms are comfortable and also very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the best: FREE POPCORN!!

Nice hostel though our two single beds private room had a little mold smell and it was too tiny. Nice staff, but definitely that's not a party hostel so don't expect staff to take you to parties or pub crawls. Good location. Good shared bathrooms.

Perfect location for a very good price. Hostel is clean and staff is very friendly. Breakfast is fine, but price is too high. Just go out on the streets to get your breakfast. Near metro and MBK. Pick this hostel and enjoy your stay!

Our private room for 5 nights was extremely clean with decent air con and a safe under the bed which made security far better. The communal toilets had no faults and was clean 24/7 along with the rest of the hostel. Having a sta travel desk in reception helped and all of the staff were helpful and nice. There was... More

Lub D provide the most basic clean amenities that you can ask for. If you are looking for a sophisticated hostel, this is not the place to be. Rather, this place provide comfortable environment for different people to mingle with a comfortable common area to bond. Room and toilet were exceptionally clean, given that the toilet is shared. My friends... More

Pros: Great place to meet people. Good happy hour and could stay up late outside and be loud. Clean bathrooms. Like location near Siam square. Cons: Room smelled like perfume covering up sewage. Room did not look like pictures (we stayed in a 4 person all girls room). Staff was very unfriendly and not helpful considering we were tourists and... More

Stayed in the 4-bed female dorm. Pros: Excellent location -- literally right outside a Skytrain (BTS) station, and walking distance to the Bangkok Arts & Cultural Centre as well as Siam shopping strip. This area was very lively but in no way sleazy. However if you're after easy access to Street food for meals you'd have to venture further. Extremely... More
