This boutique hotel has private access via its own private launch. A converted mansion, the hotel is rich in history. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Except for the occasional noise pollution from the government facility across the river and the neighbor next door, my stay was very pleasant. I would definitely consider staying again when I return to... More

Really nice boutique hotel close to everything in Bangkok and still so far away from all the noise. Don't be afraid of the location in the "wrong side" of the river. It functions so perfect with dialing the hotel and getting picked up by the hotels boat. In the drop off on the pier is an easy way to jump... More

What more can one ask for after a full day of Shopping, Partying and sightseeing than a quiet hideout from the city while still being a short boat ride away from the city. Kao San road is a walk away from the pier where the hotel has a free drop service. The staff here is the best I have seen... More

Good stay. Beautiful palace! The boat service excellent. Negative aspects: Taxy boat arrangements to china town proposed by the hotel staff for 1000 baht too expensive for 10 minutes. Poor check out: they debit us an extracost on credit card after the check out without warn us VERY ANNOYNG. Restaurant good but too expensive.

Although it is a bit out of the way BUT the 24 hour boat service and the cellphone they give you is very well organized. The moment we went on the pier and had access to a personal boat, that was an AWESOME feeling. The staff are superb and they are friendly and helpful! The breakfast was good and the... More

I enjoyed my stay at the Praya Palazzo Boutique Hotel. It's a refurbished early 20th century mansion with 17 guest rooms sitting on the river. It's safe - accessible by private boat and the entry way is manned 24 hours per day. And it's comfortable. The hotel staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you... More

Located on the western bank of the Chao Praya, and accessible only by a private launch (Pier 13 Phra Athit Road), the Praya Palazzo is close to the city, but a long way from the cacophony and crowds than are a feature of Bangkok. The structure dates back to 1923 - an Antonio Palladio lifted out of Venice - the... More

I chose this hotel because I like to stay in bed n breakfast or heritage hotels. I like this hotel because it has some history and was owned by a previous king in Thailand but was commissioned to be built by an Italian architect. It was remodeled about a year or so ago and was in great shape. Beautiful property.... More

Bangkok is so hectic and full of life that a quiet but characterful riverside hotel is a real find. We loved this place, relaxing in its gardens between trips across the river to the old city. The access by shuttle boat is personalised and only takes a few minutes, and the staff were helpful and attentive. Although not many rooms... More

Yes. Bangkok might not be an easy City. Bangkok might seem to be busy, always and everywhere. After all, Bangkok is Bangkok! And of course, Bangkok has an enormous choice when it comes to “where to stay”. You can Lodge in one of the many International Branded Luxury properties, stay at some nice mid class Hotel or find even a... More
