We came to the Praya Palazzio having stayed at a 5 star up the river and our initial impressions were tainted by unfair comparisons but on reflection we would go back. We looked at a lot of hotels at this price point and what steered us to the PP in the end was "what it was not" as well as... More

We stayed here during our 4 day city trip in Bangkok. The peace and quiet you can experience here is amazing. Perfect to escape the hectic life in Bangkok. Can be a bit of hassle to find the first time. Good thing we printed out the taxi card, which explains in Thai were to drop you off. After that, no... More

This was our first visit in bangkok and we were only staying one night. I wish we stayed longer! Upon arriving at the airport the taxi took us to a pier where a boat was waiting for us. A 2 minute boat ride later we are at the hotel! The staff spoke fluent English and were extremely attentive. They handed... More

This hotel is situated close to the historical village an at walking distance of Khao San Road, however it is a peaceful, quiet oasis in Bangkok. It is situated at the other site of the river and only accessible by ferry. After the hectic life of Bangkok, the pollution, ..., it is like the way to heaven when the boat... More

We stayed here for the third time. Although the last time was two years ago, we were recognized by the staff, which made us feel very welcome. The hotel was fully booked, but the next day we were upgraded to a bigger room. As usual they gave us a mobile phone to contact reception in case we needed the boat... More

So close to the Khao San entertainment areas; but still somewhat far because of the river that runs between Praya Palazzo Hotel and Khao San. But not to worry, the hotel shuttle boat will bring you back and forth in five minutes, at any time of the day and night. With only 17 rooms and some suites, there is a... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of experiencing this 'diamond in the rough' so to speak. The hotel is accessible by water transport/ferry. The Praya Arthit Pier N13 is where you board the hotel's transport, which is very efficient, and the handlers were pleasant and polite. Checking in was a breeze...Thank you 'Gunn'. The room we had was clean... More

As I was not impressed by the traffic and pollution of downtown Bangkok I was glad I had chosen this hotel, being nearer to the palaces and temples but only accessible by a ferry operated by the hotel across the river. The ferry connects to a public pier from which you can catch other public ferries along the river or... More

I have stayed two nights and three days at Praya Palazzo in April of 2015. I was impressed with every aspect of the hotel's operations. The room decorations, staff, as well as food and customer service ... all was excellent. Hotel employees were very helpful and knew me by my name. The only access to the hotel is by a... More

We found a peaceful, restored palazzo just a 5-minute, delightful ferry ride from convenient public ferry dock. Lots to discover within walking distance, but taxis are available and cheap. Plenty of streets to explore on foot. It's a totally different world from modern downtown Bangkok where we spent our first two nights. The Praya Palazzo hotel staff was very accommodating.... More
