Stayed here as it was close to the airport with free transfers to and from the terminal. The staff messaged to ask time of arrival at the airport and could not have been more helpful. On arrival a free welcome drink was given to everyone on registration. The staff were brilliant, spoke good English and if this is your first... More

Ideal for a short overnight stay between flights. The shuttle service was impeccable. They were waiting for us at the airport with a sign with our name, next to the info center between gate 3 & 4. Quiet, confortable rooms and linens, good free wi-fi connection. The bathroom with shower only is OK. Water and a few drinks and mini... More

Lilac has a pick -up & drop off service to the Airport. Air-conditioned rooms include a free drinks bar (water, soft drink and a beer). Free wifi. Beds comfortable. Good hot water. Cable TV. Hair dryer. Safety deposit box. Tea & coffee making facilities. Breakfast great. The inside of the lift, stairwells and corridors are hand painted with murals. Very nice... More

The hotel is excellent, you can really tell how much work went into making it comfortable. The decor is extremely cute and breakfast was very good as well. The beds were softer than most Thai beds which was a godsend after a month in Chiang Mai and the minibar and food in the room were all free. The service is... More

Stayed here for one night on return from Koh samui before flight home. The hotel is around 10 minutes from airport and is based in a local area, which has pretty much a 7/11 and an Internet cafe / coffee shop and nothing else. Rooms are basic and comfortable and air conditioning is also good. The free transfer is a... More

We chose the Lilac based on reviews and for us it was just ok. We had a long wait at the airport with the shuttle bus driver telling us we had to wait for somebody else, who never turned up. It only takes 10 minutes to get to the hotel, but we wasted over an hour of our precious sleep... More

You wouldnt consider staying here unless you had a night of transit for the airport. It's probably quite an old building but love and hard work they have decorated it nicely, with a great eye for detail. The bed was very comfortable and a couple of complimentry beers in the fridge is a nice touch. The breakfast room is small... More

I'm not sure why the reviews are so great for this place. The hotel is very tired and old. The room smelt like fried food from the kitchen below. The air-con fan is so old it kept us up all night. Breakfast was terrible - there was eggshells left in the omelet. The only good thing about this place is... More

We had two separate nights here as we flew in and out of Bangkok on two occasions. There is free airport pick up if you let them know your arrival time. The rooms are functional and clean, with free water, beer and coke in the fridge. Tea and coffee also. The AC was efficient as was the free wifi. Bathroom... More

What a great little hotel very close to the main airport in Bangkok. We were more than pleasantly surprised with the whole process, from pickup to check-in and to the room itself. If you need somewhere to crash near Bangkok airport - look no further.
