The resort is situated very near Bangkok Suwanaphumi international airport. They offer you free transport to/from the hotel. However, it's located at the end of a narrow street, it's impossible to walk out at night or even in the morning to the main road. It's better to call for a taxi. Also, the room rate is a bit higher than... More

I've stayed here 3 or 4 times and I love it. They pick you up at the airport at all hours of the day/night and bring you to the hotel. Depending on the time of day, it can be a bit chaotic at check in and it's hot. Bangkok is always hot. There's also no elevator so you might have... More

We recently stayed here for one night as a stopover. It was very good value for money. We had two rooms and the beds were nice and firm, perfect for after a long flight. Downside was that there is no elevator and we had to hike up the four stories in the 30+ degree heat. We arrived into the hotel... More

Very good location . Close to the airport. And close to local street markets and food. Reception is well runnd plesent. Airport transfer works well. No lift/ elevator so if you have heavy bags perhaps choose a lower floor. Bed was pretty firm but that seems to be the standard for Thai motels. In conclusion it exceded my expectation considering... The girl at the front desk (Name K.Than_ _ _ _ k) was really rude during my stay. I called her from the hotel room to ask for help about TV. She questions me silly such as what building am I (I really have no idea about the name of the building where my room is located)So I told her... More

We stayed at Thongta when we flew into Bangkok late at night, and had another connecting flight the next day. Thongta offers free airport pickup & dropoff, and free breakfast, which is super convenient! The room was spacious & clean. The breakfast was decent. We also opted to pay for one of the massages at the hotel spa, which also... More

Their service has been getting deteriorating year by year. Also towels and sheets are getting worn out as well (in the old building). Some receptionists act awful like queens over slaves. Waiters/waitress do not come to serve breakfast in the morning although it was paid in advance. Only pros of this hotel are free shuttle service every 30 minutes, big... More

So this was a super budget hotel near the airport where we planned to spend 6 hours. The fun started with the free shuttle. Because it's free we were told "10 minutes wait over there" and 30 minutes had ticked by while waiting for all 8 people on their list. We were still missing 3 passengers but they finally took... This has become our standby for the inevitable overnights at the airport when flying into Thailand, as our final destination is always far away from Bangkok. If you are looking for a hotel near the airport, for the price , I doubt you could do much better than Tongta. The location, the friendliness of the staff and the free shuttle... More
