Check Inn China Town is a budget hotel located down a quiet alley in Chinatown. The room was very clean and included a little kitchenette. Water pressure in the shower was good. If you are into Bangkok street food, this neighborhood is an excellent choice! So many affordable and delicious options nearby.

A little overpriced but great location in China Town. Good accommodating staff, eager to help. Went for the self-contained room with the kitchenette, which had a microwave, 2-burner stove, fridge, utensils, etc. Free tea/coffee/water daily and cleaned daily. About a 5-minute walk to restaurants and street hawkers' delicious Thai food. A 15-minute walk to Rachawongse ferry terminal. The ferry from... More

My experience was great. Except for first impression of the receptionist. We arrived in late night by local taxi (not great experience since the taxi driver tried to scam us). In fact we had only one note of THB 1,000 (we had not exchanged the money yet) and needed to pay THB 230 to the taxi. So we asked the... More

Then this place is highly recommended. They have spacious rooms with a kitchenette. Staff was friendly and helpful all the time, they even let us store our luggage for 5 days! It is also near Hua Lamphong train station which was really ideal for us since we were going to Koh Phi Phi after staying here for 2 nights. It... More

We stayed for a couple of nights and arrived very early in the morning via a night train. The Taxi driver had a little bit of trouble to find the Hotel but finally we arrived. It was no problem to check in straight in the morning hours which is definitely a big plus for the good service. The room was... More

We stayed here for three nights and were so happy. The staff was friendly, They helped us all the time to find a cheap taxi (they arranged a fixed price for us in thai) and even drew us maps and providedhgelpful information. This was amazing! We saved a lot of money because of that. The room was worth the price,... More

quite simply, we loved it. We had the luck to be in China Town for the New Year celebrations at the end of January. All the good things blogged about this place are true so I won't spend time repeating. Transport wise, use the ferry! The public tickets are 15B and you can alight at any of the piers on... More

Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms so so. Air con old, leak water. Staff helped change room, they are nice people. Fairly good location, easy to get a taxi. Surroundings not good. Dirty and stinky alley in that area. Good price

This is a pretty decent place to stay if you want to spend most of your time in Chinatown, it's relatively close to the main street and most of the shopping in Chinatown. However it is quite a distance away from the other places to see and shop, and the location of the hotel is tucked away down a pretty... More
