There are rooms of nine themes, each with three rooms. So if you are going with your friends, you can rent 3 rooms of the same theme and you can have a private living room (you may need to share with others if you only rent 1 or 2 rooms). The design of rooms are quite beautiful and I like... More

We have stayed twice at the Baan Waree within the same Thailand trip. Guy and his brother are extremely friendly and are looking very much after their guests needs. The place is a couple of blocks away from the main street ("Ari" BTS station). Henceforth, everything is very quiet at night, but you are able to reach the Metro within... More

For those who love a touch of quirkiness then this is the place for you. The photos on tripadvisor tell the story. The guys who run the place are extremely friendly and helpful. My room (301) was massive and very comfortable (if you like firm beds, which I do). The hotel has a lift, huge kitchen area, freeby toiletries, tv... More

I stayed here during August 2012. I had an excellent experience. The welcome I experienced was amazing. They couldn't do enough to help me. My room was huge. There is a lift, airconditioning, complimentary toiletries, a fridge in the room with complimentary bottled water. Also a TV with DVD player. They even have a little DVD library! The building is... My wife and I have stayed here several times over the past few years and given the "poor" reviews on Trip Advisor I feel obliged to set the record straight. Baan Waree is located in a very quiet residential district in Bangkok, halfway between Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Sukhumvit (the main CBD area if you like). Therefore it is pretty... I went here with my girlfriend last january. the hotel staff are very friendly and attentive. the hotel is tucked away in a residential area... a cheap tuk tuk ride away from a train station thats about a half mile away. The owner of the hotel gave us rides to the train station every day we stayed there. The room... More

We stayed at Baan Waree for three nights upon our arrival to Thailand and Bangkok and here are our experiences. The hotel is located in what seems to be mainly a thai residential area (although I've later heard that it's also home to quite a lot of expats), the area is very calm and it seems to be pretty safe.... The room is very clean and comfortable in a various style, you can choose the room you prefer. It's... More

Staying in Ari

Neighborhood Profile
Ari
Home to at least a dozen hip coffee shops, sophisticated boutiques and some seriously fine restaurants, Ari is the newest epicentre of Bangkok cool. Fleeing from the skyrocketing rents in Thonglor and Ekamai, many young urbanites made Ari their new home. This mostly residential neighbourhood outside the city centre isn't much of a trendy area on first sight, but if you scratch the surface of government buildings and noodle shops, you'll find out that there's loads of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Bring a local friend or do your research on beforehand to avoid missing out on all the fun.
