Mystic Place was a great hotel for the price and location. The staff was kind and helpful and even organized a free tuk-tuk to get around the neighborhood, and to/from the BTS. The room was clean, and the decoration was funky and unique. The bed was quite uncomfortable and could definitely be replaced sooner than later. But, overall, the hotel... More

My room was situated in a slightly quiet area and I appreciate that a lot! All rooms are themed; and I've chosen a room that feels like I'm back at home. All the staffs are friendly and helpful. There is Big C near the hotel which makes buying necessity things easier. 7-11 are also available, not to mention there are... More

This place is themed, every room has a different decor, and you get to stay in two different room types of choice within the type of booking you stay at. Whatever mood you're looking for, this place has got, and it's a lot of fun exploring the details. I WOULD recommend checking out the rooms, because who knows what you'll... More

If nothing else, this place is certainly unique. Each of the rooms seems to be very different. The experience feels rather like staying at an apartment owned by your estranged and eccentric uncle, who, having died 20 years ago, left his place to rot and decay. I don't know if they were really going for the full experience or not,... More

In all likelihood most people who come here are due to its location, being both pretty close to the huge Chatuchak market and not far from Don Muang airport. Those who go to the market will appreciate this hotel's off that wall and very different decor and furnishings. It's definitely boho meets junk shop. The hotel itself is on a... More

Fun place. Not typical. Each room has a theme and great and odd decor. The rooms were large. Very near Chatuchak market and Kor Tor fruit market (we walked home from Chatuchak). Off of Pradiphat. Owner also runs a nice restaurant down the street.

We were were using this hotel for 2 short (2+1 nights) stays travelling to Cambodia and back. The staff is very attentive and helpful (very good advises on transportation and excursions). Breakfast is good enough (any eggs on order+juices+toasts+yogurts+flakes+coffee-tea..unlimited). The rooms pretend to be "La decor", however shower rooms are really simple. The room itself is very spacious. We are... More

Staying in Ari

Neighborhood Profile
Ari
Home to at least a dozen hip coffee shops, sophisticated boutiques and some seriously fine restaurants, Ari is the newest epicentre of Bangkok cool. Fleeing from the skyrocketing rents in Thonglor and Ekamai, many young urbanites made Ari their new home. This mostly residential neighbourhood outside the city centre isn't much of a trendy area on first sight, but if you scratch the surface of government buildings and noodle shops, you'll find out that there's loads of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Bring a local friend or do your research on beforehand to avoid missing out on all the fun.
