This was my third time staying at niras and it was just as wonderful as the first. This time, my boyfriend bought his parents with us to Thailand and they were very nervous about what to expect. The lovely staff here instantly made them feel very welcome and put them at ease. It was very lovely that they remembered my... More

My girlfriend and I have stayed here 3 times now and we're never disappointed. we were so happy last year that i convinced my parents to join us, so they could see for themselves the fine hospitality Thailand has to offer. Of course, they did not let us down. we stayed in the double room with the shared bathroom, as... More

Stayed here twice on my trip and absolutely loved this hostel! It is very clean, the beds are comfortable and there are more then enough bathrooms. The atmosphere is very nice as well, in the cafe downstairs I always ran into nice fellow travelers. The staff is the friendliest and most helpful I have come across on my trip. The... More

If you're looking to stay somewhere the the main backpacker Hub of koahsan road, but a little more quiet and better quality, then his hostel is the perfect place to stay. Walkable distance to koahsan road (about 15/20minutes), yet is quiet and you're guaranteed a good nights sleep. All rooms are clean with air-con and beds are made everyday. The... More

Only a 15 minute walk from Khao San road, Niras is a great stop for backpackers. Beds were clean and comfortable. Showers were good and there was a nice common room with movies to watch. Staff were helpful with directions and transportation. Some of the hostel felt a bit dated but this was clearly the theme that was sought after.... More

In Thailand you may struggle to understand and get right tourist information, unless people are trying to take your money. In Niras the staff is really friendly and helpfull and have the best tips for the backpackers. They offer nice options for breakfast, its only 10 min walking from Kao San Road (far away from the loud music till 5am)... More

I like this place. It is right beside a temple and 10-15 mins away from Khao San road (walking distance). In front of the Hostel is the famous Pad Thai restaurant in Bangkok (I forgot the name). The dorm rooms are huge and the bed is also big (it can actually fit 2 people). The people in hostel are very... More

We've stayed at this hostel several times, and it never fails to impress us. The facilities are awesome, and the dorm rooms are huge. So many nice people around, and the location is amazing. In bangkoks old quarter, yet only a 15 minute walk to Khao San Road. It's located only 5 minutes walk from the canal, so it's very... More
