Staff very friendly throughout the whole stay, walked us to our room and gave us a brief introduction. Old rustic, wooden design to the interior of the hostel whilst not compromising quality doing so. Providing; good quality aircon, comfy, spacious beds and good sized lockers to store your kit away in. The showers are of a good standard aswell, if... More

Niras bankoc hostel is a great place to stay in bangkok. It is very central and we enjoyed the 20-30min walk to the main attractions such as kings palace, wat pho, wat saket and golden mount (go there-it's a 2min walk from the hostel and for 20baht entrance fee you get an amazing 360•view over the city). The staff at... More

First time in Bangkok, but I thought Niras had a great location. Short walk to Khoasan road, short taxi ride to Phaya Thai train station and major Wats. Had a private room that was clean, comfortable and had a lockable drawer. Bathroom smell on the second floor was constant throughout our stay. No place to luck/store luggage prior to check... More

The coffee shop attached is cute and it's not a bad location (about 15 min walk from khao San rd) but we didn't get in a single taxi that knew where this place was so that made it kind of difficult. I was somewhat pleased with this hostel, I have definitely stayed in worse, but was extremely disappointed by the... More

Stayed at Niras Bankoc twice in the space of a few weeks and had a fantastic experience on both occasions. Been to Bangkok several times before and always ended up in average hostels near the Khao San road, where you get what you pay for but nothing special. Niras Bankoc is a little bit more expensive but is 100% worth... More

an absolutely increadable hostel! the layout is exellent, the rooms are well cleaned, the location is fantastic and on top of all this the staff are some of the nicest people I have ever met in my life and are more than happy to help you with anything. It is a 10 minuite walk from koh san rd and there... More

I will start by saying that this hostel is expensive, you can get something much cheaper on the Kao San road, don't! Being here will make your Bankoc stay much more memorable. The location is about 15 minutes walk / 50 Baht Taxi (Bargain hard) form the Kao San Road. This is great, while you can walk there and have... More

HOSTEL: The first thing you notice when you walk into this hostel is the vibe. You enter through the cafe on the bottom floor and you'll be greeted with a warm smile from all the english speaking staff, Poupe(very energetic and outgoing personality), Pla(Tall and beautiful lady), Nungning(she always has a smile on her face), Aom(Very easy going and nice)... Fantastic location, fantastic service, fantastic accommodation. Stayed for just under a week in the mixed dorms. Beds were rather comfy, only drawback was the age of the lacquered wooden frames and the way they would creak with every movement. Lockers were large enough to fit a full 60L travel backpack as well as an everyday pack. I was there in... More

Just stayed there one night, but I really enjoyed it. Friendly staff, clean and right opposite of famous thip samai pad thai restaurant (go there!). Location is great as already described often and the dorm rooms are clean, with AC and quiet. You better be social if you decide to stay there, its impossible NOT to meet anyone there. But... More
