Good location. Close to main attaction. Good internet wifi. Security is great. Security guy is very nice. Front counter girl was friendly. Got a nice ice tea as we walk in. Room is clean. Wood floor. with 1920 setting, make me feel I was in 1920 shanghai. Water has good pressure and hot enough. We had a fridge in our... More

I stayed here for two nights and had chosen it based on good location, friend's recommendation and a desire not to be in the middle of backpacker central. As my first solo introduction to a hostel it was very good. The hostel was lovely, clean and with very friendly and helpful staff. I was in the six-bed female dorm which... More

The hostel is very nice and is located behind a cafe (same entrance). I stayed in a 6 bed female dorm which was really nice. There were plenty of showers and bathrooms just outside the room and the room had big lockers where you could fit your whole backpack. By every bed there was a power socket and a little... More

The staff was friendly and efficient and spoke very good English. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing spectacular. I had a private room and it was clean and very spacious. Shower had good pressure and enough hot water. Despite my room being against the street, noise was limited and I slept just fine. Biggest con is the location, which isn't the... More

Me and my friends stayed in a 6 bed shared dorm and there's not a bad word I can say about this place. I liked that you are asked to leave your shoes at the bottom of the stairs before going to your room, it created a chilled and homely feel. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the cleaner was very... Great location (it's actually across the street from what our Street Food tour guide said was the best pad-thai restaurant in the city!); Excellent staff (very friendly and helpful and made some excellent suggestions about things to do and see that we would not have thought about ourselves!); Nice, clean rooms and comfortable beds (for anyone who has traveled around... I stayed in Silom first and didn't care too much for the location, but found Niras on hostelworld and loved the location. Right next to the great swing and walking distance to the grand palace, khao San road, and ferry docks. The staff was also very helpful and made excellent coffee! My friend and I also really enjoyed the common... More

having been to many hostels between 1000 and 1500 baht a night, niras is very basic, too basic for us. beds are extremely hard, interior is ultrabasic (supposed to be old thai style) and shared toliet (combined with shower) was not cleaned in the 24 hours we were there. the cafe downstairs is cute, though as tiny and fragile as... Staff are the best! Beds, Bathrooms, Coffee and the environment are all awesome. Would definitely come again. I checked out at noon and Had to wait until 10pm for my bus. The staff have been so helpful and friendly. I was able to chill out at the hostel even after checking out with no problem at all. A great stay.

After the hostel that I has originally booked to to stay at had made a booking error, on arrival they gave me the option to either stay at the substandard alternative that they were offering or find somewhere new to stay myself. So I looked myself and booked this hostel. I am so happy I stayed here, the hostel is... More
