Only a 15 minute walk from Khao San road, Niras is a great stop for backpackers. Beds were clean and comfortable. Showers were good and there was a nice common room with movies to watch. Staff were helpful with directions and transportation. Some of the hostel felt a bit dated but this was clearly the theme that was sought after.... More

In Thailand you may struggle to understand and get right tourist information, unless people are trying to take your money. In Niras the staff is really friendly and helpfull and have the best tips for the backpackers. They offer nice options for breakfast, its only 10 min walking from Kao San Road (far away from the loud music till 5am)... More

I like this place. It is right beside a temple and 10-15 mins away from Khao San road (walking distance). In front of the Hostel is the famous Pad Thai restaurant in Bangkok (I forgot the name). The dorm rooms are huge and the bed is also big (it can actually fit 2 people). The people in hostel are very... More

We've stayed at this hostel several times, and it never fails to impress us. The facilities are awesome, and the dorm rooms are huge. So many nice people around, and the location is amazing. In bangkoks old quarter, yet only a 15 minute walk to Khao San Road. It's located only 5 minutes walk from the canal, so it's very... More

Brilliant hostel, well worth the price. It's location is perfect, explore the remaining section of the old town very easily and it's in well walkable distance to the Tourist area. Perfect for stumbling home at night. Staff pleasant and extra helpful, accompanied me to the bus stop by tuk tuk to show where to go!

Friendly staff, nice quiet rooms, very clean, well devorated and cozy decor. The coff was priced expensively but maybe that is the moneymaker. Priced a little higher than other places but worth it if you are looking for a bit more than just a place to stay.

In general it's a very nice place, the room is very comfortable and lovely, with that vintage feeling in the deco. The staff is very polite, helpful and efficient. The location is perfect if you want to visit nearby attractions like the Grand Palace, Wat Pho or Wat Arun. The breakfast was also great. No complaints, quite satisfied with this... More

I stayed here for two nights and had chosen it based on good location, friend's recommendation and a desire not to be in the middle of backpacker central. As my first solo introduction to a hostel it was very good. The hostel was lovely, clean and with very friendly and helpful staff. I was in the six-bed female dorm which... More

The hostel is very nice and is located behind a cafe (same entrance). I stayed in a 6 bed female dorm which was really nice. There were plenty of showers and bathrooms just outside the room and the room had big lockers where you could fit your whole backpack. By every bed there was a power socket and a little... More
