Having spent more than a week at Niras I can honestly say It has been one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. From the very first moment I had a warm welcome, the girls are very efficient and most of them speak good English and best of all, they are all pretty :-). Prices are average for... More

I ended up in a six bed dorm with only one other person so it was very quiet. The room was very clean and tidy as no shoes allowed and huge lockers. Bathrooms were right by my room so practically ensuite, they were also always clean. Towels provided. Staff were helpful, they provide notes to give taxi drivers as they... More

We booked this hostel months before our arrival, yet somehow they double booked the room and we lost out. After much discussion they agreed to give us a full refund and then we booked a dorm instead. The staff didn't seem to know what was going on. The hostel was clean and the dorm pretty nice. In the end we... More

Niras is our favorite hostel in Bangkok. The girls running the hostel are friendly and accommodating to all guests questions. Breakfast set is reasonably priced for 135 baht, and laundry is a steal. Located near many of Bangkok's famous temples, it's our home away from home. Book a week or so in advance, because it fills up; we recommend Niras... More

Staff very friendly throughout the whole stay, walked us to our room and gave us a brief introduction. Old rustic, wooden design to the interior of the hostel whilst not compromising quality doing so. Providing; good quality aircon, comfy, spacious beds and good sized lockers to store your kit away in. The showers are of a good standard aswell, if... More

Niras bankoc hostel is a great place to stay in bangkok. It is very central and we enjoyed the 20-30min walk to the main attractions such as kings palace, wat pho, wat saket and golden mount (go there-it's a 2min walk from the hostel and for 20baht entrance fee you get an amazing 360•view over the city). The staff at... More

First time in Bangkok, but I thought Niras had a great location. Short walk to Khoasan road, short taxi ride to Phaya Thai train station and major Wats. Had a private room that was clean, comfortable and had a lockable drawer. Bathroom smell on the second floor was constant throughout our stay. No place to luck/store luggage prior to check... More

The coffee shop attached is cute and it's not a bad location (about 15 min walk from khao San rd) but we didn't get in a single taxi that knew where this place was so that made it kind of difficult. I was somewhat pleased with this hostel, I have definitely stayed in worse, but was extremely disappointed by the... More

Dear Valued guest, According to your negative review, we clearly understand that panelty charge-100 baht of using other guest's bed unsatisfied you. Please kindly understand this is normal practice in every hostel, all guests in dorm should use thier own bed, bedsheet and facilites as hostel provided . Each bed is reserved for specific guest, please kindly be awared that... More

Stayed at Niras Bankoc twice in the space of a few weeks and had a fantastic experience on both occasions. Been to Bangkok several times before and always ended up in average hostels near the Khao San road, where you get what you pay for but nothing special. Niras Bankoc is a little bit more expensive but is 100% worth... More
