Hi my experience at the Patra was positive. If your fine with staying at a Thai Hotel and forget about staying at the American or European or Japanese Brands your just fine here. With very competitive rates as compared to other hotels in BKK. Stayed 4 days here last week of 13 Th July. Room was super clean/Shower was great... More

My friends and I went to Bangkok last Feb 1-4, 2014 and we stayed in Patra Hote. The Hotel was nice and clean. Though, the hotel is not located within the business district or shopping area around bangkok, still we managed to get through to their tourist attractions. The receptionist was nice to us and they offer free wifi in... More

We stayed here during our first ever trip to Bangkok. We knew from the reviews we read before that it was a little bit out of the way, so it was no surprise. It didn't bother us though, it was just a 15 minutes walk to the city line. The hotel was also very cheap, it was clean, had a... More

Booked Patra by phone in hua hin five days before getting here. Price on phone 1100 baht. Price when arrive 1700 baht!! Got it down to 1500 baht. On website said free shuttle service. Reality cab to airport 200 baht. Not happy as here one night only and because of city centre shutdown stayed closer to airport, only 20 minutes... More

This hotel is very old and need a total makeover and it's far away from everything. Bed is rockhard and dirty room. We check in and out the same day. Not happy with this hotel. I will not recommend this hotel to any of my friend.

If you love food, this hotel is great location to stay. Near Rajamangla National Stadium and along your 30 minutes walk to the stadium you can see & taste a lot of local food. Good service's & easy to get taxi.

The Patra has a great location. It is far away from the other big tourist shopping malls that is very expensive compared to the Ramkhamhaeng Area where everything is much cheaper. Hotel was nice and staff very friendly. Close by there is a very cheap laundry shop named Ann\s Express Laundry which is good if you have a lot of... More

No problems with the staff or my room with the exception of my air conditioner. Sometimes the thermostat would stick and not turn off the compressor. Woke up in the morning and the temperature was 65 degrees! But that is minor. Loved the room with the mini kitchenette (no cooking except in the microwave) There was a hot pot to... More

I made a last-minute booking at this hotel two nights before I left for Bangkok for a K-pop concert held at Rajamangala Stadium last April (2012). A friend and I were supposed to bunk in at a Thai friend's place. But after considering how difficult it may be to get a taxi back to her place, I made the last-minute... More

I lived here for seven months. It was very cheap, the staff were excellent, it was very clean and the local community are very friendly. I agree it's a bit far from many of the tourist attractions but that was one of the other reasons I liked it so much. It's quite close to Suvarnabhumi, which can be useful and... More
