5-10 minutes walk from Sala Daeng BTS station near the padpong market. The room we had smell like smoke, furniture is dirty, and the sink does not work. Then the air conditioner turn off at 3 am, until like 9 am we had to call the reception to do something with our room, and they end up switching our room... More

Checked in this indian hotel spontaneously. It's greatly located directly at Silom Road. The rooms are cheap and quite ok for one or two nights, even though our room had some major flaws. Nearly every piece of furniture was broken and dirty, same for the bathroom. There appeared to be some bloodstain on the wall too. The breakfast is special,... More

i have stayed here many times an always enjoy my stay. The rooms are large and clean. The staff very friendly and helpful especially the young lady on reception. The hotel is Indian but the theme in the restaurant and lobby is Egyptian rather strange. The restaurant is strictly vegetarian. My friend bought som food from outside and asked to... More

Have stayed here many times. As a frequent traveler to Bangkok, this place is easy to move around. Its in the centre of silom road near indian temple. Is definetely a home away from home for me. Had already recommended the place to my friends when they visit here.

The restaurant has some decent veg options. Situated very near the Indian temple on Silom Road. Thought the prices were a bit on the higher side. On a hot summer day, chilled beer and some decent vegetarian food for just perfect! The only downside is they do not accept credit cards for a bill below BHT 500.

Nice and clean room with free Wi Fi. Staff very nice and friendly. Only thing was missing here was a good breakfast. This hotel is centrally located. I would like to mention about this smart and always smiling staff name Raj, who was very helpful and very hardworking boy.

We did not stay here, but went twice to their restaurant- I must say it has one of the best vegetarian meals I have had at an Indian restaurant outside India. The staff is very polite, friendly and helpful, but most of all the food is superb, I cannot sing their praises loud enough! If we do visit Bangkok again, we... More

Nice hotel located on Silom road in the centre of Bangkok. Very easy to get around by sky train and underground metro. The restaurant was nice especially for vegetarians. If you like something different than veg food you can try at Narai hotel just opposite. Overall a great budget hotel. Only downside was that they came to make your room... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
