Near to the BTS station in Bangkok. Has some good Indian restaurants nearby(walkable distance.).The room and the bathroom was clean. Everyone should try excellent service by MakeMyTrip & great offers.

I love the location, it's a few minutes walk from the BTS or a motorsai ride away from the canal boat service. Same can't be said about the place, it's not properly maintained and the bedsheet/linen/etc are worn out and smells mouldy. The room is compact and the walls are pretty thin, so if you're a light sleeper please take... More

I would start this review by stating that whatever happens, please do not stay in this hotel. The staffs (except one) are the biggest turn off here. There was no elevator in the floor, they made me stay in. The room was clean, but was quite small. Even the safe did not work properly, and i had to inform the... More

I stayed in the hotel for ten days just because of the proximity to the Thonglor Animal Hospital. Location is great. Anything else is subpar, from the people at the front desk being as rude as they can come, to quality of wifi and so on. If possible, do avoid

The hotel itself is clean enough, but the alley that it is located in is deserted and dirty. It's an inconvenient walk to the BTS Skytrain. For the money you spend here, you can find much better accommodation somewhere else.

While the people on the front desk look uninterested all the time. The room was a decent deal. Not that u can't find any better. But considering the location and my basic need of a place to sleep. I must say this went well. 10 mins walk from the nearest BTS. And a minute or less to the main road.... More

We were given a room that was totally different from the pictures and the entire place had this weird pungent smell. Its isolated and far from the main streets of Bangkok, the only nice thing about it was that there's a relatively large supermarket across the street (there's also swensens and starbucks) The hotel staffs in our case were quite... The hotel was hard to find, since it's located on a dark side street. The first few living things we encountered were a rat and some cockroaches in the yard. (The rat was lying dead on the street the next morning...) The receptionist was not very interested or didn't try very hard to understand our questions. We weren't located in... More

The staff is poor in English, cannot help if you need anything. Perfect location, near train, shopping, restaurants and good massage (Wat Po School). In a quiet road, very little noise. Comfortable bed, nicely designed rooms, but they tried to save on interiors, so even if it look new, there are many things already falling apart. Breakfast has a very... More

I as there las January. It`s easy to get there from the airport by public transport and it`s only a few stops of skytrain from the shopping area of commercial siam square. Coffee and teas are complimentary. Good relationship quality-price

Staying in Thong Lor & Ekamai

Neighborhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
