A free washer & dryer and detergent in an extra half-bath of a spacious suite is all you need to get 5 stars from me! But wait, there's more! Column Hotel's suites have a kitchenette, some stunning views, nice amenities and furnishings (a bit worn, but clean and comfortable), and my favorite little indulgence, a spa robe. Breakfast and lunch... More

This hotel may not meet your eye , even if you have been to Sukhumvit often as one tower is dedicated for office spaces and is seen largely as commercial space .Located in Soi48 in Sukhumvit , the hotel is great in terms of rooms ,facilities , food and service .The best part is the Long Table restaurant and bar... This hotel was absolutely perfect for our needs. Rooms are like an apartment, and ours was ridiculously spacious with both kitchen, washer/dryer, and a 29th floor, floor-to-ceiling view looking west across the cityscape. Stunning. The location is a short walk to both the Skytrain AND the Subway, which makes it absolutely primo for transportation. Both stops are located next to... More

This hotel has lasted well over the years (better than others on Soi 16 which I have stayed at and moved away from). Rooms are huge with good views, there is a pool and a gym. Breakfasts are good and the Long Table is legendary for dinner.

My family spent just one night (New Year's Eve) at the Column in Bangkok. The orchids in the lobby were beautiful. We stayed in a beautiful two room suite with sweeping panoramic views of Bangkok. The suite was huge, modern and beautiful, but it looked rather sparse (no furniture in the office and nothing hanging on the walls). Of course,... More

Recently traveled to Bangkok along with family, when I was exploring various options Column bangkok appeared one of the places of my choice and budget. The hotel is located at sukumvit SOI 16, easily accessible to MRTs and TUK TUK(Local autos) The rooms are very spacious, neat and clean. The views from 37th floor are awesome and you can spend... I've readen other non enthusiastic comments about this facility, and sincerly i'm not able to understand why some people have given to Column a negative judgement. I used to stay there for a week because of business and Column is simply amazing: the location is wonderfull, you are just around the corner from everything, skytrain, underground, and the full of... The hotel is well located within walking distance to Sukhumvit. Check in was fast and efficient got a room at a high floor 4011 and had a splendid view of Sukhumvit and a nice skyline. The room is huge - especially the dining/living room. Perhaps such a big room should have more furniture to give it a more cozy/warm feel... More

The pictures on the website definitely look better than in person. The room is huge, but seems a little dark with the wood wall paneling. The furniture has seen better days. It's just a huge room, but did not feel very homey. I was up on a high floor and the view was wonderful. Upon checked in, I got a... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
