We spent some surprisingly pleasant days at this hotel. The location overlooking a lush green park is a great asset because it feels quite removed from Bangkok's traffic chaos. The airline train is a 15 minutes walk away, there are some nice restaurants, streetfood stalls and shopping places around. The staff is very nice and breakfast is fine, although Western... More

I have stayed at this hotel 6 times in recent years, and unlike many hotels in Bangkok, Royal View just keeps getting better. Since my first visit they have remodelled the lobby and restaurant area, improved the breakfast, as well as the general menu. The one thing that never changes is the friendliness of the staff, who always make a... More

Just been to Bangkok and touring in Thailand and used the hotel on 2 occasions for 3 nights each time. Would rate it as a good quality 3 star hotel. Stayed in a 4 star hotel last year with more facilities and it was plusher but preferred the Royal View as service was more friendly. Excellent check in with cool... More

It was a relief to arrive at this beautiful little hotel in the midst of chaotic Bangkok. The staff were friendly, smiling, welcoming, and spoke English. They served you a special, and delicious, cooling ginger drink upon arrival. The room was quiet, cosy, clean, and comfortable. The room was cleaned and serviced daily. The only problem may be the bath/shower... More

This hotel is my next option after mandarin. BUT! They never failed to amaze me on its service. The staff smiles as always esp Chok Dee our receptionist. We check in early and theyre very accomodating with it. Also gave us a very nice ginger ale as welcome drink with cool towel to freshen us up after a long walk... More

Recently stayed here for 3 nights with my girlfriend to kick start our first international holiday. In short the hotel was very nice and clean with friendly staff. The surrounding streets are very loud, busy and dirty but once you step inside the hotel grounds you immediately forget this and are greeted with a very luxury looking lobby. The only... More

The hotel is perfectly located to be close enough to everything going on, but once your walk through the entrance to the grounds, you completely forget that you're so centrally located. The staff were so friendly, I have no complaint but some staff didn't speak English. The grounds are perfect, with beautiful trees and plants growing around. In fact the... More

The hotel is very clean from the lobby to the toilet and up to the rooms, eventhough some fittings are worn out. Very comfortable to stay. Breakfast buffet are separated between western breakfast (bread & such) and heavy dishes (rice & all). The location is superb. Very very near to the Victory Monument BTS, King Power Duty Free Complex, ATMs,... More

The stay was fine, the place is secure and reasonably quiet and the rooms big. The location is also good in terms of BTS and a couple of decent food streets nearby and if you don't want to stay in one of the big tourist hubs - e.g. Sukhumvit- its a good alternative. Also the park is nearby which is... More

We had a wonderful and peaceful view of the park from our room balcony. Such a surprise for us since our presumption of Bangkok was concrete jungle and traffic. It was also a short walk to the Victory Monument BRT station. We hopped on one and for 300+bhat got ourselves to the Central Weekend Market at Mo Chit. It is... More
