Lovely, helpful staff, great location, soothing, homely decor as mentioned in Lonely Planet Guide, a 'matronly feel'. Clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast is very good, mainly because of the personalised table service and cooked to order eggs. Internet great. Sound-proofing not great- between the howling creature/dog outside my window and the moaning man with the runs downstairs, I didn't get much... More

This hotel was perfect. The staff was very friendly, spoke great English, and gave good ideas about what to do in Bangkok. The room was amazing--very clean and comfy. Breakfast is included which was fruit, toast, and eggs. You could choose how you wanted your eggs prepared. This hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the Grand Palace and some... More

If you want to stay in a clean, quiet hotel while being near Khoasan Road this is a great spot. The walk there is only 5 minutes but you'll feel a world away from the loud obnoxious noise of it. There is a cafe, mcdonalds, an numerous street vendors right out from the hotel. The rooms aren't big but they... More

After we finally found this place we absolutely loved it. It's off the main road and our taxi really struggled to find it as it's located on a back street/ alleyway, which is kind of dirty, but don't be put off, inside is really nice. Rooms are clean and air conditioned, beds are comfy and the staff are extremely helpful.... More

One of the best places to stay in Bangkok if you are looking for something that is affordable but comfortable. I stayed for 4 nights in July 2015 and really liked the following - 1. Location: location wise it is as convenient as it could get. Located just around the corner of the Democracy Monument - an iconic landmark, it's... More

Stayed here with my boyfriend in July 2015. Quiet hotel with under a 5min walk to the busy Khosan road. AC worked well, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great (fruit, eggs, bacon, toast, tea/coffee/orange juice) so would definitely stay again! Thank you very much!

I stayed there in a deluxe room for 4 nights. The Hotel is very clean and they clean your room every day around noon. Good shower/bath, good AC, comfy beds and nicely priced mini bar. Very quiet, welcome and good stay. The breakfast is ok but I did not catch it every day. The nightlife on Kao San Road cost... More

We spend one night here and we very impressed. The rooms are very clean, the staff are very humble and lovely, and I highly recommend the omelet for breakfast ( complementary). It has a great at home feel in the dining area. We could see that the owners have a high standard of hospitality and hygiene ( we peeked in... More

I was impressed. Everything from the bathroom to the sheets are very clean. The location is good, within walking distance from the Grand Palace and other places of interest in the old town. The National Museum is really worth a half day. The staff are warm and helpful. The bathroom is admittedly small but still pleasant. The breakfast is simple... More

Very clean rooms, staff really helpful and the breakfasts were really good. The woman at reception I think the owner was so helpful. This hotel is near the palace and walking distance to the best pad Thai restaurant in the world according to Rick Stein ( this is how I found this restaurant, from his show its at Ghosts Gate)...
