Rooms are spacious, creatively decorated and have good beds. THB 2,000 per night is a bit steep though for what is a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel. It is close to Chatuchak and Don Muang, if that is where you wish to be. Otherwise the location can be a bit remote.

Its hard to find a good hotel in Bangkok. After having tried so many places we have finally settled on Serene. I stayed here with a family. We needed to be near Chatuchak for work purposes so chose the Serene but in hindsight it would have been better to stay further away and get a nicer place. This place is magical, the owners have thoughtfully developed a beautiful oasis. The rooms a big, clean and very trendy, they are quiet, beds a comfortable, linen is of an excellent quaility and they all have air con you can control. We stayed here in October 2011 and really liked the hotel, the friendly owner and staff.
