Location of this hotel is really great. You can walk just a few minutes to Khaosan road and Phraartit road which are attractive places. But this hotel doesnt have elevator and it's quite old tiny room and only windows in a bathroom which has only curtain cover it. Wifi didnt work and Receptionist was terrible.

This place is by far the worst place iv ever stayed in at a budget. There's rats in the kitchen, yellow stains on the covers, and holes in the ceiling of the bathroom, and no windows. It's a filthy prison, there's far better places to stay in without u contracting a disease.

I experienced the worst and most rude staff in all of Thailand this far, at Sawasdee House. Every other guesthouse, hotel and hostel nearby allowed friends to meet and hang out in other's room but this place didn't even let you walk up the stairs. When traveling with groups of friends, this certainly puts a toll on organizing and meeting... More

Would have been nice by the receptionists were so rude and would not even let us back in the hotel after we had checked out even though all we wanted to do was speak to our friends who were staying another night and collect our bags. Then they told us they didn't care and that we would have to pay... More

We went to eat at the restaurant. The fruit juices were full of ice and were not squeezed fruits but artificial. The meal was just reheated and not cooked for us. I got sick the next day. The high price is only due to its situation close to the Kao San road but does not reflect any quality.

Yes, the hotel is in a good location but that's about all it has to offer. I'm sure the dorm rooms are fine but we booked a Superior Double Bed for two nights through Agoda and I wished we shopped around more before we did. Upon checking in, they ask for a 1500 (46$ US) baht deposit that they write... More

During the Songkran festival, I was stayed at this hostel.. bit nervous to see how the room with $30 looks like, for me it's just OK, with the bathroom facing the street and open window.. Hostel very near to Khao Sarn Road and less noisy compared to others hostel in KSR, there is a restaurant down stair and a good... More

I booked and paid RM76 for a superior room. I extended for 2nd night, booking via Agoda, didn't realize i actually booked a standard room which cost me RM73 in total. Requested to stay in the same room and the desk agreed to 'upgrade' my booking after a few talks. Room is not large, just right for two. There is... More

Great location, right next to Khao San Road but not as busy/loud/dirty. Lots of shops, money exchange booths, restaurants and food stands everywhere. The rooms are clean and usually small, but for the price you pay it's a good deal. Lobby is nicely decorated and its got a good atmosphere. Staff could be a little friendlier though.

The download speed was 0.3 and upload speed 5,0 which indicates there's some kind of radio interference which can easily be fixed by changing wifi channels. When I inquired at the front desk about why the wifi is so slow, she said, "This is a guesthouse, not a five star hotel" That attitude indicates they are unwilling to fix problems... More
