Staff may appear to be your 'friend' but watch your bags, especially when you are sleeping! Other than that, bed sheets had holes in them, blankets were foosty, ladders to rooms and small bathrooms. Only plus was that it was quiet, in a good location and had air con

Referred by a world traveler- Sitdhi is enjoyably interesting and professionally run and maintained. The hotel has a nice peaceful ambiance for the well traveled. My personal items were locked up safely where only limited staff could enter. My bags were tagged, locked in a room with a clear view at the front desk for only ten baht per day;... More

This place is not for families or wannabe backpackers. It is a cheap, low quality place where you get what you pay for. The place has a lot of hardcore travelers, local hookers and ladyboys. This may not be ok for everyone, but the prices and reseption area makes it all worth it. Sitting at 5 am getting my head... More

Very cheap and authentic... If you like to be where its at and yet away, a gritty, down to earth place, complete with ladyboys, hookers and old time tavelers this is your place.... maybe the cheapest place in the Kho San area... It is real, stayed there a half dozen times or more and there is always stories to be... More

Average guest house in a good location away from the hustle and bustle of koh San. We stayed in a double bed room with a fan. It was still very hot in the room but if your a few weeks into your travels and your used to the humidity this isn't a problem. We got on fine with the owners... More

The only good thing to mention after 4 nights in the guest house Is the location. On foot it's mere 5 minutes to Khaosan road. Most rooms are moist and have no windows or just small windows with a nice view on the laundry room (which is quite busy in the morning). The service is also very poor. Most of... More

The very cheap price made me stay here for a few days. My room had no window and the bed was quite hard but all reasonable for what you pay. It was all clean and so were the shared bathrooms (cold showers). However, the very loud music from the street (every day) keeps you from sleeping so either go out... More

I recomend anyone not to stay in this place, for the same price you can stay in a better place. The rooms are awful and dirty, some of them smell very bad. Is hard to sleep cuase the bar next door makes a lot of noise and guests keep talking till late at the lobby.

My wife and I have been travelling around Asia for close to 9 months now and have not come across a guest house that has been as cheap as this one...let me give you a few examples: 1) They do not provide blankets, you must rent them 2) They do not provide towels, you must rent it 3) You are... We assumed Khao San road in Bangkok wouldn't be quite Thailand... Plumbing was poor. The room smelt smoke. The laundry lady ruined must of our clothes but just turned aggressive when we pointed it out. She cooked dirty clothes in a dryer ! Did she forget the laundry powder? She was happy about keeping the money though. The travel booking... More
