Worst place in Thailand to stay at. Horrible quality room bathrooms are dirty, price is cheap but must pay extra for bed sheets, towel ect. Most of all staff was extremely rude. If you are in bangkok i recommend you go somewhere else

Friendly thay family, we´ve been 4 time there and will comeback. You can made the check-in anytime. The guest house is very near to kaos and road. There´re diferents rooms, for 1 person, 2 people...with or without fan or a/c. the beds are confortable. The price is from 150 bats to 450 bats. Moreover there´s a bar/restaurant and travel agency.

The location is great as it is next to a row of good sidewalk restaurants and bars, near Khao san road, the river and tons more shops/restaurants by the river bank. Room itself is acceptable given the low rate. Bathroom arrangement leaves a lot of room for improvement. However, the worst part of this hostel is the staff attitude. You'd... More

Sitdhi is a great place to stay in Bangkok. There are cheap fan rooms (150 Baht no window, 250 Baht with a window) + clean shared showers that have hot water, a/c rooms with an attached bathroom for an O.K price as well (400 Baht). Guests who want to bring a friend to stay overnight will pay extra (100 Baht).... More

Stayed ther for its price, but regreted after the service. The staff is really unfriendly, they even charge for the luggage storage. After check out, if you need to have a shower you need to pay extra 20baths,... Beds are pretty bad too, i will not come back here again. They need to learn how to treat people and be... More

Perfect place when passing through. Rooms are cheap and clean. Beds are a bit hard and they dont ha A/C only fans. But i prefer fans anyway. The guest house is 2 min walk from Khao San Road. If youre there try the secret passage, short cut. If you can't find it, ask for it. You'll love it. If youre... More

The room was clean. With a own bathroom and hot shower for 300 bath was not bad. We asked for a room with window but we could not sleep from the noise from the bars outside till 4am and the dogs next door were making noise at night. We had no problems with the staff. The chanting from the monks... More

The location of the hotel is perfect, close to everything but not noisy. The room was fair for the price and relativly clean. But... we got a very unpleasant feeling from the staff. For every question we had, we got an angry face and the feeling we are interrupting them. We had bugs in the room and when I went... More

Cheap accommodation near Kaoh San Road, for the price per room you cannot be too picky. The guest house offers a range of prices, from the cheapest around 250 baht (no blanket, towel, toilet roll or fan) to the most expensive around 500 baht (air con, towels/blankets included). The location is great, perfect distance from Kaoh San Road (away from... More

It was the worst place I stayed in BKK. Cocroaches, bedbugs, rooms are muggy, without windows. Toilets aren`t very clean and there is only one shower with heater. In one of them smells badly all the time. If You pay 50 THB more you can find better place with free tea and coffe, water and bananas. In Sidthi they will... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
