Clean and basic hotel, excellent location by the station means you can get everywhere you need. Lost my card (my fault) but was charged £10 for a replacement. At least they said offered (unprompted) to refund this if I found it. Ultimately, we chose this hotel for the pool and were not disappointed. What a view!

For the money you pay the heritage offers a fairly average experience. This is our last stop in Thailand so it's a shame to end on not such a great note! A friend of ours stayed here 5 years ago and remembered it quite differently. The rooms have been renovated but to an incredibly low standard (door handles hanging off,... More

Corner studio is a joke. Windows have now sun protection so the room is hot as a sauna. The shape of the rooms are strane you have lot of space, but useless corridors everywhere. Were changed to 3 different rooms during the arrival. Attitude of the personnel at the reception s not on the three start level. free Wifi not... More

My wife and I had always previously stated here and enjoyed it. Until recently. The wifi is garbage. Didn't work and had to keep resetting it. After being put in an awkward, dark room we asked to move, willing to pay for an upgrade. We were told that they were completely full, no two ways about it. When I pointed... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
