We stayed for 3 nights in December. We were in room 501. Beds weren't the most comfortable in the world. The best thing about this hotel is its location - it's about 60 seconds from the Khao San Road. However, it does mean that the room is filled with the music of the road until about midnight. I will also... More

I stayed here one night at the beginning on my trip and one night at the end. The first night I had an argument with the staff who were very rude about the obligatory deposit you need to leave for the room key (1000 Baht). My friend had done the booking for us and in the Agoda email confirmation there... More

We arrived to Khao San Road around 3 p.m. Read tons of reviews of KSR hotels but wanted to see it with our own eyes therefore didn't book any beforehand. Rikka Inn was fully booked, receptionists were not really friendly, but at least not rude, moreover we were let to see the condition of swimming pool on the roof and... More

We were a bit nervous about this accommodation as this place has mixed reviews and it was our first time in Bangkok. We needn't have worried. Rooms are cheap and clean, beds are comfortable and yes it's a bit loud (bars, traffic etc) but we didn't really spend much time in the room at night, as we were out and... More

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for: super cheap, clean, in a buzzy area and with a pool! The best thing about this hotel is that it is located in a buzzing part of Bangkok, right near the famous backpackers haven for cheap shopping, bars, restaurants and street food, Khao San Rd. The rooms are clean, with tasteful,... More

I'd rate this a ok stay for a passing visit in Bangkok. Rooms are clean and staff are accommodating. Very loud at night and couldn't sleep much. It's very central and great location. The pool is a bonus, not very clean but is lovely to cool down in the Bangkok humidity

While the room was fairly clean and the hotel is very central, I would not stay here again. It turned out that all rooms are smoking rooms and presumably, over time, the smoke has permeated the walls and mattress etc so that the rom stunk of cigarettes. Had we smoked this would not have been an issue but as we... More

This is not a cheap place to stay, as it is "boutique", but putting a couple of framed painting in a room does not make it a boutique hotel. But my main complaint is that you have to pay for WiFi!!! Which is madness, as it's free everywhere in Thailand. It claimed to be high-speed Internet, but it was 2mbps... More

Located on Rambuttri street this place is ideally located for all the bars and restaurants in the area of the infamous Khan San road. The hotel is new so it clean with nice decor but it does have its faults. As an ageing backpacker I remember the days of postcards and poste restante but now it's all about wifi, this... More

We needed a couple of nights in Bangkok before moving on to the south islands, thought this place would be good as it had a pool and we had done all the sights in Bangkok already. We were wrong, the room was dirty, the air con was weaker than any fan we have had before, noisy hotel, had to pay... More
