Booked this hotel on a well known travel site just before New Year as the hotel I had been in before and wanted was already filled up. It was considerably cheaper and I had noticed it in the neighborhood so thought I would chance it. Mistake. I arrived late at night and was exhausted but not too tired to notice... More

This is very much a default option for tourists or long-term stay guests. There are much nicer places to stay (but you'll pay considerably more) and the location is, at the right/wrong end of the city's notorious Soi Nana (Soi 4), something that you'll appreciate for its proximity to the "scene" at the end of the Soi if that's what... Booked by walking in at reception where the rate quoted was slightly lower than online. Reception was friendly asking me whether the room was ok, whether I needed anything for my stay. Chose a room at the back overlooking the mostly abandoned tobacco monopoly factory complex and the canal thinking it would be quietest which it was except for the... More

We stayed at the monthly here, you pay for 30 days and you must give a deposit of 10k baht too. For this you get no breakfast or water, but you do get wifi and maid service. Of course the swimming pool and free tuktuk service. There is a restaurant and beauty salon for ladies. The rooms are huge with... More

This place used to be a favourite of mine. Recently I stayed there, arriving early(3 AM) and being told I could pay one night's rate if I departed the next day by 8 AM. I was very pleased with this. When it came time to depart, they'd forgotten all about it and forced me to pay an extra day's stay... More

I quite like Nanatai Mansions although some reviews are not always good. My room was very large and modern. There is no mini bar in the room, but you get a large fridge and in my room there were tea making facilities. The hotel is situated right at the end of nana 4 and if walking to Sukhumvit road can... Have stayed here many times in the last 10 years and find it friendly and well run. Staff are always friendly and pleased to see you. Obviously some rooms are better than others as being updated. There is a new wing at the rear of the hotel which is nice. As someone wrote the 7th floor has been renovated and... More

I have stayed at the Nanatai Mansion (Now re named Nanatai Suites) multiple times each year for approx 10 years now and in the past have given it great reviews largely due to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. This visit was not at all good. Arrived at the hotel having booked direct and received a confirmation of a... More

The only reason why I give this dump of a hotel a one-star rating is that TA doesn't have a feature to give zero stars. This is a neglected, dirty hotel, the front desk staff (actually all the staff in this place, no 'Land of Smiles' here!) is unfriendly, untrained and clueless (it took one of them 15 minutes to... Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
