I've stayed in Bangkok many times, and by far this is the best hotel that I've ever stayed at with good price and excellent location! The location is definitely unbeatable, consider that it is just a 2-min walk to both the Asok BTS station and the Sukhumvit MRT station. The stations are connected by a footbridge and escalators, as well... More

First impressions and this looked like a great find but scratch the surface and it's not quite there, a few too many corners have been cut. The shower was weak and the bath took forever to fill...no real water pressure. Rooms could have been cleaner. Bed was big and very comfortable. It's a bit tucked out of the way which... More

Darjelling is right at the interaction of bkk's bts and mrt train systems making it one of the most conveniently located hotels in the city. Also, Terminal 21 shopping center just opened, which makes the location even better with easy access to restaurants, shopping, movies, and a great food court. The hotel is nice and the staff is helpful, but... More

Great hotel, beautifully designed rooms. Very kind and helpful staff! We were 3 nights at the hotel and came back for another night! They kept part of our luggage for two weeks :) we would be back again!

We stayed here for a few days at the end of a 2 month trip before flying home to the UK. I don't think we could have done better in terms of price, location and quietness. Darjelling is at one of the most convenient locations in Bangkok, at the intersection of the Asoke and Sukhumvit roads where you will find... More

Best part of the hotel is its location @ sukhumvit near soi 18. We could use the airport-city metro to commute. Its just a stone's throw from the sukhumvit metro station, although tucked away from the regular city chaos. The room was a bit smallish... although very comfy. No view from the room.. cant expect that.. It had almost every... More

excellent position in quiet back court yard area, fantastic up todate rooms with excellent fittings . my only complaint would be that the room at first smelt of tabbaco smoke ....aircon on for 10 mins sorted it out though

When we arrived my wife and I had cold showers, this was later fixed. The next day same thing happened again, this time I was shown how to fix the issue. On our last day we had no water at all to either flush the toilet or shower. The above incidents with water or lack of did not make me... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
