I booked 8 rooms for guests but the hotel transferred them to stay at another branch without informing me before. The hotel claimed that many rooms were under construction. Even though, branch manager had tried his best to find out solution for me, it cann't compensate.

We arrived at the hotel, only to be told that the hotel was double booked, so we were taken to another Heritage Hotel, which was under construction! We had booked this Hotel due to its location to the Myanmar Embassy. This was a little annoying (and if we had read more reviews we would have been aware of this issue!).... More

I booked the 'Superior' room for around $45 AUD. The strengths were 1) great air conditioning; 2) spacious room; 3) king size bed; 4) balcony; 5) friendly staff; 6) good location. The opportunities were 1) no elevator; 2) WiFi didn't work at all; 3) I asked to borrow an iron and ironing board and they said they didn't have one... More

About what you'd expect for the price. Nice location on Silom Road, but the rooms are pretty worn out, and the sink is just bizarre. Amenities are minimal (a washcloth and bathmat would have been nice), but mostly clean.

Arrived in the evening and was told the room door was broken, was transferred by taxi to sister hotel in Sathorn district. Dark alleys well away from any places or main roads, simply dangerous. They informed fully booked in all areas so was told had to stay there for the night and transferred back in the morning. Simply refused to... More

This hotel is very well located and we have been here before. We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. We sent 3 emails warning them of our early arrival. Our train arrived at 6.30AM. Nobody ever answered our emails and when we got to the hotel, they told us we could not have our rooms before 2PM, regular check in... More

Finding this hotel was a pain. At around 10 PM, the reception and restaurant looked empty- reminded me of the song Hotel California. I stayed there for a night and the rooms were good. They aren't very spacious, but unlike other hotels had a nice look to it. I guess, the interiors were typical Thai. Can't really comment about the... More

It is the second time I have stayed here at the Heritage, and it is super convenient to the sky train, restaurants and everything else you would need for a cheap and cheerful stay in Bangkok. I would say the hotel itself is slightly dated, however is extremely clean and well mainted for the age it is. Costs are low... More

We loved the location easy to walk around market is within walking distance and lots of food and shops. however not too happy with the hotel and service: 1) beds are horribly hard, if you are a side slipper don't even bother (to be fair, this is through for most hotels we stayed in during the two week trip) 2)... Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
