I had a very clean freshly cosmetically painted room. For the price I paid it was very very good. The surrounding area is shabby outside the grounds, Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was OK and minimal evening meal choice on offer. My stay was related to some business in the area otherwise I probably wouldnt choose it. However it... More

We stayed here for a night, because my wife had to do some shopping in the area. We had a fantastic room, spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The location is rather poor, and this part of Bangkok has little to offer to tourists, westerners. But the skytrain station is within walking distance.

I actually stayed there 2x during my May 2014 visit. When I arrived for a couple days I stayed in a Deluxe Room then we went to Hua Hin for a few days and returned to Bkk and stayed in a suite for the rest of my stay. Both rooms were well appointed and clean. Nothing outstanding. The Deluxe had... More

Well impressed with management at this place; desk always manned, out - front always someone available, very clean, friendly staff, especially the egg lady, he he...it's important to realise there is nothing in this suburban neighbourhood to interest tourists apart from the Convention Centre, which, as mentions attracts large groups of Chinese. Therefore ask for a room on one of... More

I found this hotel to be old but good value for my money ie as with most Thai hotels it was per room and included breakfast The breakfast was aimed at the mainly Chinese tour groups who stayed only the one night & was at least Asian .All staff were very helpful and friendly and did their best to make... I chose the Monmanee as a base to attend a convention at the BITEC convention centre in BKK from which it is was only one BTS stop away. Each evening though I found myself doing more travelling than I would have liked in search any signs of life as there is very little to do in Bearing. Situated at the... More

This is a nice budget hotel in the area of Bangna(my co located in). The rooms are very clean and large. But soundproofing is poor if you have a noisy neighbour. The hotel is about 30-45 min from the international airport depend on traffice condition but you need to take a taxi/scooter to subway station and shopping mall. They provides... More

We spent two nights at the Monmanee. The staff was nice and helpful, but we unfortunately found out that the hotel was hosting a very loud large group of Chinese and it was quite difficult to sleep because the insulation amongst rooms was really poor. Moreover, the first night we were delighted by a bunch of dogs kept in a... More
