Throughly enjoyed the stay here. Initial reaction to the room on first sight, (room 1406) no windows and very dark. Of course these things make the room PERFECT after dark when you need a few hours sleep! The bed was comfy, air con great, noise level non existent during the night and free wi-fi in the room. The staff were... More

We really enjoyed staying here our room was clean, quiet but sometimes a bit smelly. We liked the restaurant and having drinks by the pool, the staff were very helpful and friendly we would defiantly stay here again and would recommend to friends :)

Just of Koh San road with nice staff, comfortable room etc etc. We couldnt get wifi working in room and didnt get much help from staff but luckily we could tether from our mobiles. All in all it was a good place to stop off and a bit more chilled than Ko San Road but very close. The travel desk... More

Tucked away in the heart of the Khaosan party district renowned among backpackers and world travelers this district really blooms at night and can be quite noisy. However, Villa Cha Cha is set back enough to avoid the impact and is actually quite serene & like an oasis in the heat it has an enclosed swimming pool just off the... More

My friend and I booked a twin room for two nights this week. We were happy to experience this busy and bustling area of Bangkok and it was our first visit to Thailand. On arrival we were pleased with the hotel even though our twin room was very small. We settled down our first evening even though there was very... More

Nice stay in superb area in Bangkok. Very clean room and spacious bath room with separate shower. A little bit more expensive but worth the extra baht. Good WIFI. We had a very quiet room but without windows.

We had a fine stay in this hotel. The area is so nice to wonder around and eat streetfood. But for us just arriving in asia and jet laged it was perfect to have a escape from the heat and the buzzing city. We Found that in the hotel. Super plus point was the pool seeing Bangkok is hot and... More

Stayed here in this hotel after walking by it and seeing the pool. We were staying at Wild Orchid Villas up the road. This place was a wonderful change (so glad we did change hotels!) What a find. Beautiful pool, Nice staff, good restaurant! Thats just the beginning.. OK we didnt go the extreme backpacker route and opted for a... More

Villa Cha-Cha is situated in the best part of Bangkok with a lot of shops and nice places to have breakfast and eat diner. Next to the street of Villa Cha-Cha is Khao San Road. The most interesting and busy street of Bangkok. Villa Cha-Cha is colorfull. The people are very nice and the room is clean and nicely decorated.... More

Villa Cha Cha is a hidden gem!! The narrow entrance opens to a pool and restaurant which are decorated in traditional Thai style. My friend and I checked in here after a terrible nights sleep at the backpackers across the road. This hotel is clean, quiet and cheaper than the hostel at 1000 baht a night for a twin room... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
