Staying one night in Bangkok we didn't want our hotel to be a faff. We chose this one as it was near a Sky Train, was affordable and looked decent. This is what it delivered. The room was small but clean and comfy. Soi 8 is not as seedy as some of the other Sois off the Sukhumvit and you... More

Had a great stay at Salil Hotel the people were very helpful and cheerful everytime! Wish I could've stayed longer... The location was great as the sky train was just down the street (hotel always gave us a ride to the sky train, very useful). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, it was just perfect! They provide lots... More

This hotel is value for money. It is in the back of a deadend street and therefore really quiet. At the beginning of the street there is a skytrain station (Nana), the entry to soi 11 (with lots of pubs, etc) and there is plenty things to do. The hotel drives you to the beginning of the street with a... More

I've previously stayed at Salil on Soi 11, but decided on a change and booked Salil Soi 8 this time. I stayed in two different rooms during my two separate stays. I had a terrific time here, and would recommend it to people looking for a quiet yet convenient place to stay. The Salil on Soi 8 is located on... More

The good: Fantastic location! 2 min walk to sukhumvit road and NaNa BTS station. Only another 10/15 minutes walk to Asoke station where there are shopping malls, restaurants and plenty of markets. The walk to is pleasant as there are loads of market stalls and food vendors. Rooms and linens are clean. The bad Wifi service is poor you can... More

Quite poor really. When you book a hotel because it has a car park and discover that the car park is actually street parking outside the hotel it can be quite annoying. Check in was quick and simple but the room I had, at the end of the corridor, was incredibly small. It had a Queen sized bed simply because... More

Breakfast was served with an inside / outside option and was again good value and could gets you off to a great start to... More

Due to changes in my travel plan, staying at Salil was a last minute decision. And it was one of the best decisions I made during my trip to Bangkok! The hotel itself is in a great location, down the quiet end of soi 8 but not to far form Sukhumvit rd. The room I had was at the back... More
