Great hotel, service was superb, they tried very hard to serve my needs and always polite and very welcoming. Reasonable breakfast, booked this hotel through wotif at a well discounted price, so was great value for money, is deffinetly a 4.5 star hotel, even a 5 star hotel to me, will stay there again, good walk to stations also. more

We stayed here for 3 nights recently and I have to say it was smaller than I originally thought it was from the write-up it gets on expedia etc, however there is no distinguishable bar although I suspect you could always drink in the restaurant which serves good food - although a little pricey for the area. We stayed at the Furama for 3 nights in August on a trip to Bangkok. It was in a great location being a 5 min walk from 2 stations- the BTS and MRT. It is a functional hotel with clean rooms and modern style (apart from the bathroom which was quite ugly). However, this is not a chic, boutique hotel.... more

Had two short stays in July 2009. Very nice rooms, spacious, big bathrooms, good beds and all mod cons.Breakfast was good, staff were very polite and helpful The Sukhumvit location is fine, about a 5 min walk to the Asoke MRT station. Plenty of pubs and restaurants within a 10 min walking radius. 7-11, bank and pharmacy are just opposite.... more
