All i wanted was a very clean room and hotel. but it was really surprised me with lots of bonuses. I totally did not expected it to be a big room (for me it seemed so for i used to see small hotel rooms here in Singapore even on a 4-5 star ranges). Clean with lots of extras and extras... More

Had a three night stay in an "economic SGL" room. Room was of good size, clean, nice bathroom, and good value for money. Room was surprisingly quiet considering it was across from the elevators. Two small windows allowed natural light in. I stayed in seven hotels with similar prices during a short trip to Taiwan and this was one of... More

Dong Wu Hotel provides great customer and service, helping out with transportation, directions, etc. The breakfast is pretty good, although mostly Taiwanese dishes, but did have eggs, toast and some fruit otherwise. The location is pretty good, but not the best. You are about a 30+ min walk/metro combo to the major sites (Ex: Taipei 101, Da'An, Shillin). The room... More

There is really nothing bad that can be said abut this hotel! The staff at the front counter are always very helpful and courteous. I fell in love with the aunties downstairs that prepared breakfast everything. Although the breakfast spread is nothing fancy, it is definitely homestyle which is something that I appreciate most when away from home. I stayed... More

I can't say enough good about Dong Wu hotel. They gave us a free upgrade, so the lovely, spacious room is even a better bargain. We haven't heard a single distracting noise in four nights, the bed is super comfortable, the room is spotless, there are two widescreen TVs, the breakfast buffet isn't fancy but is plentiful and fresh, and... This hotel is not in central of Taipei but easy to go anywhere because the MRT station is just 7 minutes walking from here. Seven 11 & Family convenience stores are around. Big mall Carefour is also just a walking distance. Room is really comfortable, staffs are nice & free wifi. We stayed in triple room & enjoyed the comfort... More

We stayed 4 nights in June 2014. The hotel's location is very convenient...a 5 to 10-minute walk to the nearest MRT plus lots of good places to eat around the area. There are a couple of convenience stores near the hotel. Lots of taxi cabs, too. But I suggest taking the train since it's convenient and walking isn't a problem... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Dong Wu hotel for 6 nights in july 2014. We chose this hotel based on customer reviews, but we honestly got a bit disappointed. The location is okay, about 5-10 minutes to the MRT, but there's not that much to do in the neighborhood. The staff is very helpful and will do their best... More

It was my second time at this hotel, this time staying for 6 nights in a Business Room on the 6th floor. I contacted the hotel via E-mail to inquire room availability and could also make the reservation this way. Since I had stayed in this hotel before, I did not even have to state my credit card number for... More

Its located in quiet part of town but within walking distance (2 min slow walk) to MRT. Price is reasonable and it is clean. Lobby and safe staff very well mannered (same can be said about all Taiwan's hospitality workers). Spoke reasonably good english. Very safe to stay there.
