I read many hotel reviews before I left, and finally decided on the Rich Garden Hotel. The only negative I had read about this hotel was the breakfast. I am going to start my review there. My two traveling companions and I, could not have been happier with the breakfast. When you enter, the two friendliest women greet you with... More

Another hotel needing a makeover! Dated looking inside, but clean and well-run. Nice friendly helpful staff. The bath has a curious double level in it which is awkward unless you notice it! Short walk from Ximen MRT. Easy access to food places in the neighbourhood although there's not an immediately close convenience store. No breakfast. Wifi in the room good.... More

We tried to search the hotel which located in the good location, clean and include the breakfast. Finally we got this hotel. Even if this hotel is established in 2005, it is good in maintenance and clean. All facilities are provided. Location : this hotel is located around 10 minutes walk from the Ximen MRT station. Once you get of... More

Stayed here for 2 nights on 2 separate occasions during a recent holiday in Taipei. In terms of location, it is very convenient - about 5 minutes walk from Exit 1 (red house) of Ximen MRT station. On the first 2 nights, we had a room with no windows - it felt quite clostophobic - so we made sure to... More

Chose hotel because of the rating vs my desired hotels in Zhongshan. MRT is definitely 5 to 8 minutes walk along main road side with not much anything to see while walking to it. It is about 10 minutes to the lively stretch of Ximending. Carrefour which is surprisingly open 24 hours is very near, about a minute walk. That... More

We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel and it formed a great central base for exploring the city. It was a 2 minute walk away from Ximen subway station and a 5 minute walk away from the main Ximending shopping area which had a very good nightlife vibe. Although this area tends to quiet down after 11pm after the... More

Convenient location close to Ximending and also Longshan Temple as well as Botanical Gardens. Ximen is one stop from Taipei Main Station and bus station. Well thought-out service including umbrellas for guests to borrow, daily newspaper in English, fairly good breakfast, helpful but unintrusive staff. I needed to see a doctor and receptionist accompanied me to doctor`s clinic and was... More

Only spent one night at the hotel but it was a very comfortable one! Had a huge bed in a spacious room looking over Taipei. I actually arrived a few hours ahead of schedule, but the staff were very friendly and helpful and my room was ready for me after only a few minutes of waiting in the lobby. The... More

My wife and me stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and found it very convenient to move around around Taipei. It is located near to XiMenDing (XMD), which is about 5 minutes walk to the XiMen MRT station. In the night XMD area is bustling with activities & good for shopping and plenty of food. The staff is always... More

Book a triple room for three night, good service and they allowed us to check-in earlier at 2pm. Everytime we in out the staff will greet us and friendly. Somemore they also provided an unbrella if raining. Room is comfortable with full facilities ie. provide slippers, snakes, biscuits etc. The bad things is a bit far from Ximending take about... More
