I guess it's one of the bigger rooms around. The place is not bad and employees are friendly and helpful. We were there early and they tried to give us room as soon as it's available. It's not very near to ximending. 2 blocks away.

We had a room on level 5 with a (very long distance) view of Taipei 101. Room was clean and comfortable, with a great and hot shower. Free wifi. Laundry room with free washing powder was a good extra. Located close to Ximending shopping area and two different subway stations. Allows you to get all over town from this location.

Small boutique hotel. Good location. 2 blocks (5mins walk) from the Red House and Ximen station as well as Xi Men Ding. Free wifi. Small laundry room with washing powder available. Comfortable firm beds. Hot showers. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was so-so but it was kept topped up.

It is close to Ximending (the happening place in Taipei) - a 5-min walk. A better hotel in the neighborhood of XiMending than other hotels. Staff are friendly and courteous. Speak English. Restaurant for breakfast is located in the basement - away from rooms. So, you do not get food smells wafting into the rooms. Rooms are clean and pretty... More

We stayed for 6 nights at the Rich Garden hotel. I had not stayed at another Taipei-hotel so I cannot compare, but we were overall were pleasantly surprised. Staff: Very polite and helpful. Room: As requested, they had given us a quiet room; the room itself was quite small but it was very clean. Bathroom was comfortable too (toiletries consisted... More

Staff were really good - friendly, welcoming, helpful, knowledgable, and my lack of language skills was no problem. As others have said, breakfast was very good, decent mix of local and western options. Other facilities were fine (although I wasn't there long enough to try out the gym). The only criticism of the hotel itself (and the reason I didn't... More

Stayed a total of 5 nights at this hotel. Location: just slightly over 7 min walk from Ximen station Exit 3. Excellent for shopping and going back for a bit of siesta before coming out for more shopping/eating. Hotel amenities/service: Staff are extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast is provided and it is really awesome. First thing I think of upon... More

Once you enter the hotel lobby, you will instantly feel that the hotel is time warped in the eighties. The decor has obviously not been updated. When you enter the hotel room, take a good look at the carpets, which are badly stained. Even the wallpapers are full of scratches from luggage bags brushing against them because there is hardly... Very friendly and obliging staff. Clean rooms and bathroom except for a carpet that needed cleaning. The chairs in the hotel room were oriental design, and still had heavy plastic covers on the seat cushions. Free Wi-Fi and the room and in the lobby. Although I had a room facing the main street, the street noise was not bad. Breakfast... More

Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice details on the room furnishings. Breakfast spread was great! Toilet was choked but staff attended to it quickly. Location is ideal as it is not directly beside the busy xinmending area but not too far too with a 10 mins walk.
