Clean and Nice Ambience accompanied with good staff. We visited here in December and got a in-bulit room heater with clean wash rooms. Worth the price. Easy and convenient location. Had a great fun with friends here.

The hotel is old and also the captain service staff who looks like no life in him very cold like a living dead. There is no free Wi-Fi internet we are ask to pay $50 for a connection. The room are expensive and we were lucky to extend a day in a near by hotel with more than half lesser... More

Near Zhongshan MRT station so makes it an excellent starting point for exploring Taipei. The hotel looks aged but its clean. Nothing much to rate or rant about. Hotel staff are very friendly and they speak Japanese fluently. There is an excellent noodle stall near by and I ate there twice!

Being a Japanese American myself I found the staff, especially those working in the front desk all speak fluent Japanese. They were very patient... More

On the positive side, the front desk are welcoming and helpful from the moment you arrive. There is (wired) internet connectivity in the rooms, the hot water really is always hot, and the aircon works although with no great enthusiasm for its job. However, the first disappointment is the room decore and the bathroom are adequate, no more. If you... More

I have already heard from my Taiwanese friends saying this is one of the hotel with a long history in town before I arrived at the hotel, and for the reasonable price I paid, I wasn't expecting anything fancy like a five star hotel. Despite the small size of the lobby, the staff members were extremely friendly. The rooms were... More

Date of stay: mid June 2006 This was my first time in Taipei and a local business partner suggested me this hotel because it's one of the few that fitted my budget. As soon as my taxi pulled over in front of the hotel, I knew immediately this is a budget hotel. My business partner had told me that hotels... More
