My partner and I stayed in this hotel over the Easter break. We found it to be not exceptional. The hotel is clean and modern, with staff able to speak English, a good sign in Taiwan. They will write instructions in chinese for taxi drivers, mandatory it seems as most taxi drivers speak little if any English. Taxi from airport... More

The reservation was a bit messed up; the hotel arranged a room with a zip bed (two mattresses) instead of a single mattress. I was able to change to an adjacent room whose mattress configuration matches the reservation. Internet is not fast, capped at 8mbps and packets spend 35ms minimum before arriving at anywhere useful. There is no captive portal,... More

We booked this hotel for 3 nights and ended up spending 1. We woke in the middle of the night to an overpowering smell of cigarette smoke, went to the Front Desk to complain, they gave us 2 keys for 2 rooms on different floors, they were actually worse. We were left with two choices, sleep in the smoke or... More

I stayed here recently on business. The hotel gets the job done but that is about it. There was no gym, that I could find, and breakfast was very uninspiring (western food that is). Rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. All in all average at best.

Location is good, less than 10 minutes away from Zhongshan Metro Station, plenty of shops and food outlets, place is bustling but without the madding crowd such as those of the Taipei Main or Ximending area, taxis easily available. There is an underground shopping link that links Zhongshan Station to Taipei Main Station. Service was good. The family room we... More

Not easy to find a room with 2 beds that each slept 2 people - so glad to have found this hotel. Our local friends say our room is quite spacious for Taipei and we couldn't agree more. With 2 King size beds with room to spare it was quite nice. Bathroom has a large tub that fills quickly, another... More

We stayed at this hotel twice during our Taipei trip as we went to tour other parts of Taiwan in between. During our first stay, the room was nicely appointed and spotless so we had no complains. Only grouse was that they did not have wireless Internet. Problems only surfaced when we returned for our second stay. We asked for... More

This hotel was a good hotel to stay in Taipei. It has a central location, comfy beds and the service is also good. The only con I can think of is there is no room service but the location has quite a few choices nearby so not really a problem. The breakfast is average but we did go to some... More

While in Taiwan, we mostly stayed with relatives but we wanted a hotel close to the train station one night. This place was perfect for our needs -- a spacious room with 2 queen beds. The beds and linens were comfy and everything was spotless. My children fell right asleep. It did seem a bit dark in the room, so... More

Hotel is located abt 10 min walk fr ZhongShan MTR station, no connecting underpass so will be troublesome if it is raining. Hotel staff is generally polite but not helpful in giving advice (I.e staff cant assist in changing currency during weekends when banks are close). hotel lifts are small and with smell. Hotel cafe where breakfast is served is... More
