Found this hotel's location very useful. Rooms clean and everything worked inside. Staff very friendly and provided help whenever asked. Useful hotel taxi service to and from the airport. Great room rate. Overall I would use this place again.

Their rooms are very basic, and small. TV is the box-type, although channel options are good. Staff are helpful, and very friendly. English has never been a problem. Price-wise, very reasonable. Their breakfast selection is great: fresh fruit, congee, pastries, eggs. Coffee and tea acceptable. Location can't be beat: steps from the MRT blue line, bus lines to Taipei Main... More

The rooms are generous in size however a little aged. The staff were very friendly and professional. I would have liked to see a better hairdryer in the room, a personal hate is the small hairdryer attached to the wall.

The best part of this hotel was its location, within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the metro. The hotel itself was a little aged, though my room was more spacious than I had anticipated, with a love seat, easy chair and table. The airport pick-up service was totally worth it and cost about the same as a taxi. Staff... More

The hotel is very near a lot of shops, such as zara, mango, etc. Behind the hotel also has lots of restaurants and interesting small shops. It also has a very good bakery just beside the hotel, and the breakfast buffet is pretty good. The room however is very small, I even have trouble to put my 2 luggage. My... More

First time going to Taiwan and practically had no clue on what to expect. San Want hotel however delivers all my expectations. The hotel itself seems a bit old, but which part of Taiwan isn't? (Except the new developed area near the Taipei 101). I pay a bit extra to get my room upgraded to a larger size. Room is... More

Right in the heart of Zhong Xiao East Road, you could basically buy anything you need within walking distance and the MTR subway is right near the hotel's doorsteps. The rooms are clean, but during the summer, watch out for cockroaches... Two small ones somehow got into my bathroom on the 10th floor. Air conditioning could get very cold, but... More

The biggest plus point of this hotel is that it is right next to the mrt entrance. The hotel is only 4-5 stations away from taipei main station on the mrt line. Not too far from major site seeing locations - all major sites are at inexpensive taxi distance. Although I didn't shop in the area, there were plenty of... More

Pros: The service was good. The room was clean and tidy. Nice choice for ladies who love shopping, located at the heart of shopping zone. Uniqlo and Zara are within walking distance. Plenty of restaurant and coffee shops in the alleys nearby. A clubbing spot right opposite the hotel. Cons: The room size was a bit too small for two... More

The hotel is located at the central of Taipei city. Next to metro and lots of dinning outlets around. The hotel is decorated in a very old fashioned style and lots of midlanders stay there as well. Breakfast is terrible and noisy. It's your choice to pick one between convenient or comfortable.
