Pros: The service was good. The room was clean and tidy. Nice choice for ladies who love shopping, located at the heart of shopping zone. Uniqlo and Zara are within walking distance. Plenty of restaurant and coffee shops in the alleys nearby. A clubbing spot right opposite the hotel. Cons: The room size was a bit too small for two... More

The hotel is located at the central of Taipei city. Next to metro and lots of dinning outlets around. The hotel is decorated in a very old fashioned style and lots of midlanders stay there as well. Breakfast is terrible and noisy. It's your choice to pick one between convenient or comfortable.

Older hotel with good old fashioned service. Abundance of friendly & helpful staff at the ground floor entrance and at reception. Not a trendy place but not run down either. Small rooms, but at least the windows open to let in fresh air. Good WIFI, adequate breakfast, small bathrooms with older style showers over the bath, so not ideal if... More

Very good location on the main street of Taipei City, subway is right in front of the hotel, plenty of restaurants and shops to chose from. The hotel is a little out dated, especially the corridor leading to the rooms is needing a good face lift, it is starting to smell a little. The room I stayed in is nice,... More

The hotel is a little bit old but the rest is great. The staff is helpful, skillful and pleasant. Services offered by the hotel are perfect! When it rains, you can borrow (for free) an umbrella from the concierge at the first floor. The MRT station is close to the hotel, it is very convenient: stores, markets are just nearby... More

There's nothing 'wrong' with San Want - it's just not a 5-star luxury hotel. The downtown location is great, with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby - and a subway station across the street (the subway is clean and safe!). I even broke my "No western food" vow and sneaked out to the Starbucks next to the subway station for... More

Breakfast is good. There is very nice patisserie on the next door also. On the entrance of the hogel at the ground... More

This hotel is located at the shopping area and quite near Taipei 101, around NT100 away by taxi. Rooms are nice, bathroom is okay although quite small. Breakfast is decent though they should increase the selection. The internet speed is not consistent. Nothing special here.

Although we tried to adjust the thermometer, it was still cold in our room. We asked for extra blankets and were told that they ran out. Apparently other guests were also cold. Instead, they brought us a small space heater. I don't know how many space heaters they have available so if you check in to this hotel in the... More
