I stayed in this hotel 3 nights, the service was good. The rooms small, the bathroom very small. This hotel had the hardest beds I have ever slept on. Not comfortable at all. Breakfast was fine. In a good location. more

Good location being close to railway station and Taipei 101. Stayed there twice in July, first room on 13th floor was fine with very large comfortable double bed, internet access, TV and usual stuff. Second room on 10th floor looked a bit more dated (carpet in particular) was smaller and although it was a no smoking room someone had definately... more

Nice hotel, marvellous location with very convenience in transportation. Room was clean but toliet is small and layout hopefully can improved. The toliet bowl flushing system is weak, need to use force to flush and easily get choked. Quite noise in the room as outside traffice noise can be heard. Room window should improve to be sound proof so that... more

- Room made me feel like a good old hotel along US high way with added business facilities. Kinda like they just hold back something on the redecoration of the hotel. - Front desk is not quite friendly but not atypical from my experience with most tourist hotel - Conveniently located and close to the MRT (subway) station. Lots of... more

This is my maiden stay at the hotel and I am very pleased to say that I will return to this hotel again when I visit Taipei. Generally, I have no problems with this hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who's visiting Taiwan, whether for business or leisure. Good points: (1) Convenient location; 1-min walk from... more

While the San Want Hotel is frequented predominantly by business travelers, it's also a very good choice for other visitors to Taipei. The location of the hotel is fantastic, as it the breakfast buffet. The rooms aren't modern, but very clean and well kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, very good choice. more

I don't really have anything negative to say about the hotel. I got to experience a lot of it as I was in Taipei during a typhoon and was stuck in the hotel. It's right next to an MTR station and only about 3 stops from Taipei Main station. The evergreen airport bus stops about a 10 minute or 1... more

Service: Quick & friendly. Check-in at the fourth floor was quick. Got a gd rate thru OctopusTravel cos of my local credit card promo. Upon departure, 3 bell hops helped with 50+ kg of luggage and sheltered us in the rain. If u show proof that you're a hotel guest, the internet usage is free for 10min. Have to pay... more

We had heard from friends that San Want Hotel is right above the shopping district in Taipei, so we decided to give it a try. The 'Flying Dog' airport express had a bus stop right in front of the hotel so it was an extra bonus. We didn't like the overly enthusiastic bell boys who hovered around us wanting to... more
