The location is perfect for shopping and dining. The newly built hotel equipped as the top Japanese hotel has perfect rooms and its amenities. The top of the hotel outdoor swimming pool is perfect for a daytime swim and a sunset drink at the pool side bar. The breakfast room needs an effort to raise its service.

I reserved a room through booking.com that was hundreds of dollars cheaper than what other sites were asking. So I was concerned I'd get stuck with a dark, dank room. I was so wrong. This is an awesome hotel. Let's start with the room itself. The entrance has a marble floor. To the right is a closet. Beyond that and... More

We were looking for a good hotel in Taipei and read a lot of positive remarks about Okura. We arranged for a pickup from the airport to the hotel and everything was arranged as per plan. Check-in was fine and the surprise was how the room was designed. The bathroom / shower was separated from the toilet which we thought... More

Spacious, clean, simply and beautifully decorated with hardwood floors, nice linens, and Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Spa facility adjacent to exercise room is top notch with a large hot tub with a view of the city and a plunge pool plus steam and sauna.

We stayed 3 nights at the Okura hotel in Sept 2014. Really convenient location - walking distance to train station and major department store. Service from doorman to the house keeping are all 5 stars.

You've found your hotel in Taipei. Don't look any further. This hotel is centrally located (5-minute walk to Zhong Shan Metro station), rooms are spacious, nice and modern. More importantly the service of the hotel staff is the best I've ever had in Asia. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and little touches like writing down the number plate of... More

From the Okura hotel chain , a nice addition for travellers who have to stay in Taipei . Okura is famous for its impeccable service in Japan and Taipei is up to the standard . Rooms are very luxurious , nicely decorated in classic style and very quiet . The only drawback we experienced was that the air con was... More

I looked up TripAdvisor for suggestions on where to stay during my trip to Taipei last week and Okura Taipei Prestige came out tops for luxury travel. During my previous trip for business, I stayed at Sherwood (which was great in its own way as well) and this time round, I found that Okura, a relatively new hotel, was the... More
