It is always hotels like these that spoils you to the bream! Okura Prestige Taipei's service staff are warm and friendly. Ever ready to tend to your every need and request - promptly and always with a warm smile! In the rooms, the bath and vanity area comes separately from the toilet. This is especially thoughtful and convenient for twin... More

Taipei is not generally known for great hotels. Many of it's properties are older and have seen better days, but in the past few years this has completely changed. We stayed a week at the Japanese-owned Okura in March, and were thoroughly satisfied. Unlike many Asian hotels, this was built in a purpose built building 20 stories tall which only... More

I booked this hotel for my parents during their visit to taipei. Pros: very clean rooms and very friendly staff. Cons: Billing issues / no response from hotel AT ALL!! On march 28, at the time of check out, we were told by the front desk staff that we had to pay for the night of march 24/25 (we prepaid... More

My stay was greeted with complimentary sweet in the room - a small box of nougat. The nougat was unexpectedly tasty, but not enough as all were finished within a minute. The solution was to go down to lobby cake shop and buy some more. There are boxes of 16, 32, and 64 pieces. My recommendation is to get the... More

This brand gets increasingly impressive every time I stay. Excellent: - Friendly staff, customer facing are mostly tri-lingual, Chinese, Japanese and English speaking. - Room amenities as you'd expect from this class of hotel. - Great location in the classic area of town and only 2 minutes from the MRT There are many famous eats within 2 minutes of the... Excellent location. Spacious, clean and thoughtfully designed rooms. In particular, the hotel bar was impressive, both for its service and the drinks edit. We had absolutely no fault with this hotel, and would definitely stay here again when we find ourselves in Taipei

One of the best hotel ever stayed, all staffs are so polite and helpful. The room comes with Japanese element in every aspect and was so impressed with bed room layout, nespresso machine is a big plus.

Really enjoyed my first time stay at Okura Prestige Taipei. The location is really convenient, about 5min walk from Zhongshan MRT. The airport bus also stops close-by (we took bus 1819 from the airport. Th concierge informed us to take bus 1961 on the way back. The cab costs TWD 1200 for an approximately 45min journey). Check-in was fairly fast... More

We stayed for one week at the Okura and were very impressed. The Japanese hotel was very comfortable with friendly staff and a large room. We had a king prestige regular room that was a good size for the two of us. In the room: a desk/ work area, a chaise lounge, king bed, fridge with some beverages not weight... More

I had a wonderful 3 day stay. The Okura did everything right. I requested a quiet room on a high floor, and they came through with a beautiful, large room on the top floor. I slept perfectly. All the staff were quite welcoming. The location was excellent. It was a fine base for travel by subway or taxi, and taxis... More
