I stayed here for two nights 'in transit' from Hong Kong and before I spent a few days in Yangon. I understand it's new and it showed. The hotel was spotless and like many good Japanese hotels the attention to details and service was immaculate. The rooms are large, tastefully furnished - and unlike so many hotels I stay in... The 2 nights that we stayed were the best out of our 8 days trip in Taiwan (after having stayed at (almost) budget home stays for the last 5 nights). we have the most spacious rooms and the most comfortable beds! So good. The hotel was well located, next to the Zhongshan MRT and is good for travellers wanting to... More

Great location, close to a major subway stop, several restaurants and shops. The staffs are very efficient. The entire hotel and rooms very well decorated, with nice bed, furnitures and bathroom amenities. The Wi-Fi is free, as many hotels in Taiwan, but the charge of beverages in room service are expensive. Good breakfast, with mix of oriental and occidental items,... More

The location was excellent within minutes to the metro. The lobby boys are excellent for we were so tired that we left our clothes on the luggages and then we went for our lunch in the hotel. They folded our clothes tidily and packed in a bag. The receptionist was nice and made a good suggestion to have lunch first... More

As many have reviewed here, this is one top-end hotel will all the bells and whistles. The location of the hotel is very convenient, it is within short walking distance to the Zhongshan MRT station, 3 separate Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Departmental Stores (yes not one but 3!), MacDonald’s and Starbucks. My family and I stayed in the Family Prestige Room... More

We were an extended family of 9 people, we got 4 rooms for 2 nights. We stayed in many different hotels for our 2 week trip in Taiwan. The Okura Prestige was the best of the best, bar none. The rooms were large, clean and well-appointed. The Good: Location, amenities (Room, Pool, Spa, Staff), MRT half a block away, Market... More

The hotel has lovely luxurious rooms - state of the art toilets with TV in the bathroom. Breakfast was reasonable and for those who like Japanese, a decent selection of Japanese items. Location is quite central with access to the subway - a short walk away and some shopping and dining within close proximity of the hotel. Whilst the hotel... More

Great Japanese hotel in Taipei. Room and service was excellent, although the view was pretty much non existent. Location was very central, within few minutes of walking to Zhong Shan MRT station which was very convenient. Shinkong Mitsukoshi departmental store was also within 5 minutes walking distance, as well as a few boutiques along the road. Multiple great restaurants near... More

Compared to other hotels of similar star rating at other places, this one definitely stands out. Service is better than excellent, with an unexpectedly fast housekeeping and bell desk service. Room is very luxurious considering its price, where other places fail to offer the equal comfort. Bedding is comfortable as well. Bathroom is one the best in hotels I've stayed... More
