We had the pleasure of staying at the hotel the week leading up to Christmas 2015. From its beautiful exterior, to the stunning lobby, impeccably designed guest rooms and warm staff (the lobby doors are ALWAYS opened for you), we couldn't have asked for better. As a frequent US-business traveler, I would easily put the overall experience on par with... More

The Okura is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, if not THE best in terms of service, amenities, quality of room, and attention to detail. Service/Amenities/Room - Everyone speaks English and you're always warmly greeted each time you walk in to the hotel. It always felt like I was coming home! - I had a redeye flight... More

Stayed here for 9 nights in November 2015, booked though hotels.com at about $220 US/night. Was there for business and some sightseeing. Very comfortable and lovely room. Beautiful rooftop pool which was empty or near empty every time we went. Staff is very (VERY) friendly/courteous/helpful to almost the point to fawning, which was a little uncomfortable. This hotel is on... More

My partner and I stayed at Okura Prestige Taipei on 2 occasions during our visit to Taiwan. It is one of the nicest 5 star hotels I have stayed both domestically and overseas. It would definitely be suitable for couples and business We were upgraded both times and the rooms were spacious and nicely fitted, the bathroom and showers were... More

Stayed for 2 nights for the new year's eve trip to Taipei. Hotel rooms was elegantly designed, cosy and equipped with high-end technology (where the panel next to the bed can control pretty much everything in the room). Bedding was impressively comfortable - we had a very good 2-night sleep there. Hotel is conveniently located just 5 mins away from... More

This place is obviously only designed for business people. If you are traveling with your family better don´t bother them and find another place: The hot tub in the wellness area is not to be entered by children that might like to change cloth, shower or just have a bath in the hot tub before or after going to the... This is the second time I stayed at Okura Prestige Taipei, both times were very happy with them ! The hotel is conveniently located in a relatively quite area in Taipei, it is 2 minutes away from subway station and 5 minutes walk to a neighborhood the equivalent of Aoyama area in Tokyo, where shopping, restaurants, boutiques and cafes are... Okura Prestige Taipei: great location, high standard of rooms, good restaurants (recommendable breakfast!), close to all Taipei must-see, and also close to subway. I was amazed by the quality of hotel rooms. Definitely recommendable.

Stayed at The Okura for 2 nights whilst in Taipei. The hotel, new and gleaming, prides itself in delivering Japanese hospitality. The location is excellent, just a few minutes from Zhongshan MRT station and several enormous department stores (Shin Kong and Shin Shin). If you are arriving by train the hotel is a 5-10 minute taxi ride from the main... More
