My husband and I spent three wonderful nights at this hotel and were delighted with our decision. We decided to turn a layover en route from the US to NZ into a little visit to explore Taipei. We arrived to "check in" very early - 6am, and naturally our room was not ready. We were, however, allowed full use of... More

We spent 4 nights in this Hotel and it was clear from the first moment that it's run and managed by a Japanese company! The staff were friendly and always ready to assist, people clearly take pride in what they are doing. The Guest Relations desk was particularly helpful with suggestions, when we came with our list of places to... More

We had a lovely two-night stay in a magnificent Executive Room ... but not without some drama checking in. We arrived just before 7am from our overnight flight, and expected that our room wouldn't be ready. We originally booked a Premium Prestige Room (on Amex points). However, we had hoped for an upgrade (comp or otherwise), and in fact, an... More

Middle of Taipei, great location and beautiful rooms! I don't know if the hotel is new, but I had so much trouble finding the hotel on Google Map. I went with family and we had two connecting rooms for 5 people altogether. Bathrooms are huge with great lighting. Rainfall showers and huge bathtubs with a TV. Bathroom is a separate... More

Not the best facilities but service is very good, with lots of Japanese style service standards. The bar is great , and always busy , and recommend the " Mojito" cocktails, which seem to be a hot favourite there. Location is ver convenient for shopping, train station , and access to the airport. Quite expensive , compared to some comparable... More

New and elegant Japanese city hotel just one metro stop from Taipei main station. Good shopping and restaurants of all kind nearby. Our room was spacious, especially the marble bathroom and had a separate toilet. We found everything clean and fully functional. Free Wifi in the rooms. Complementary bottled water and a newspaper came every day. Laundry service was super... More

We spent a night at the Okura while transiting through Taipei. This is a beautiful new hotel. We were upgraded to a suite with a view of the city. It was a lovely room with gorgeous, tasteful finishes and tons of toiletry amenities. The room was completely sound proof and the bed was very comfortable. The service was friendly and... More

Just about as perfect of a hotel for business (or pleasure) as can be. Room was very big with huge floor to ceiling window and super clean and organized. Remote control for almost everything; shades, drapes, lights, etc. Unlike other hotel, the in room safe is in the night table. The bathroom is very modern and Japanese typed. I loved... More

A long-due review, but a must-do. Stayed here for 4 days Conference in August. The rooms are 'prestige' just like the hotel, modern Japanese interior with high-tech amenities. 5 stars service from the Concierge. I had a friend visiting from out of town and spent a couple of hours with me nearby the hotel, the concierge still helped us to... More
