yes, everyone agrees the rooms are smallish but they are very comfortable and functional. As a non chinese (the market is geared to Chinese from China) the biggest problem I had was the available English programs..NO business channel like Bloomberg or CNBC....and general entertainment channels could easily be increased.Around the hotel are many fast food and regular eating places for reasonable cost... I spent 4 nights on this hotel. The single room is very small. Although this hotel is classified as business hotel, but I think it is more suitable for couple or friends vacation. This hotel is strategically located in the heart of Taipei, next two MRT station boost the flow of crowd. Breakfast is same for everyday and I think... More

My room was dated but clean; in fact, this hotel is much more old school than new, but a very good deal. The price is right, includes breakfast, and is very centrally located. Staff is friendly and helpful. Free WiFi in each room. If you need such things, mini marts, Starbucks, and MacDonald's very near as is the train station.... More

Am here on business and stayed in this hotel since it's near office. Hotel room is small but comfortable. Train station is just next to hotel. So it's easy to move around. The hotel lobby is always busy and crowded. This is because they have quite a few restaurants and a bakery shop within the hotel. 7-11 & family mart... More

It is very old style, Hotel room is a bit smell luckily still clean. Ok for short stay. Reservation staff can answer email enquiry in prompt manner but they are quite unhelpful (they requested my request to help me to make a reservation for business dinner) There a bakery shop in the hotel lobby and many locals in and out... Previously when I went to business trip to Taiwan, I often stayed the hotel. Brother Hotel is mot so high class hotel, therfefore it is suitable for such business trip. And at second floor there was a Chinese restaurant, when I stayed the hotel, always I tried to have Chinese foods at the restaurant. Especially Chinese noodles of the restaurant... More

We stayed there for 3 nites...recommended by a Taiwanese friend It's an old hotel but clean and hv friendly staff. Very reasonable rates that comes with breakfast which is quite good..but the best things are its location, next to the tube station, the restaurants...Tepanyaki is excellent,so is the Taiwanese restaurant. The Suchi shop and bakery are also good....within walking distance are... More

This hotel is literally at the exit of the MRT station so it is super convenient for travelling.....the only downside is that you would need to make a transfer onto the brown line to get to this station. It is also close to SOGO, for the shopping hearts. The hotel space is average size. There is a fridge with beer,... More

This is not fancy but good choice for you. Overall, this hotel will bring good for your stay if you are planning to city tour or to access to another transportations such as MRT or Train. And also you can get shopping in IKEA!!! Location ; 50mins from Taoyuen Airport to hotel by taxi, and the fare would be NT1,200.... More

Brother Hotel was an amazing value. The rate beat most other hotels we were researching and it was a really nice place. Beautifully appointed rooms, nice bakery and restaurants downstairs and a very good breakfast. The location was great - the municipal train transit stop was basically at our front door so we were able to get around Taipei with... More
