In the heart of downtown - great locale! Felt very safe, clean and well appointed rooms, right by the subway in pretty much every direction you go. Close to several wonderful stores, a grocery store and some wonderful local restaurants mixed in with chain restaurants that those less adventurous can enjoy. Wonderful attractions....I'm going back in a few months and... More

It's very near to Taipei Station with quite a few eateries nearby too. It's cheap for a solo traveller, at least the cheapest I can find on hotel booking websites. Toilet had a smell of sewage after the door was closed for a whole night. For subsequent days, I left the door open and it got better. There is a... More

Actually, I kind of like this place and would stay there again if I heading Taipei on a solo trip (like I did before). Due to its religious link, there are certain house rules to follow and one of the things that don't quite my liking is the inflexibility shown when I tried to arrange to put up a big... More

In terms of location, it cannot get better than this 5-10mins walk from Hotel to Taipei Main Station (where Train and metro are located) and Taipei west bus station. The room was clean, a thermos flask and 2 cups were provided, there is a central water dispenser (cold, warm and hot water just outside the lift lobby area. Wifi is... More

Technology, cleanliness, fridge, bidette, and free wi-fi in great rooms 9th and 10th floors. Staff super helpful and even pulled out a first aid kit to bandage my knee after I slipped in the street. Two minute walk from major bus routes which stop in front of the central train station connecting all over the country. Food courts in malls, convenience... More

The hotel is conveniently located near Taipei Main Station Mrt. There are many facilities near the hotel. Just below the hotel they have a restaurant. However, the hotel does not provide breakfast. It would be good if breakfast is provided. The hotel room that I stayed in was comfortable with room to move about after taking into consideration our luggage.... More

I love this hotel as it's centrally located and easy access to public transport. Almost every cab knows where is the hotel when you named ymca hotel. Use exit M5 from Taipei Main Station MRT to walk to the hotel. It takes less than 5 min. If you are one who shops for CDs, there are about 5 around the... More

The Y Hotel is in the process of renovating their rooms. We stayed in a renovated double room on the 10th floor, and it was excellent. The room was spacious by Taipei standards. Located just a 3-minute walk from Taipei main station and within smelling distance of many food options, this property is an ideal base from which to explore... More

I had stayed in the superior single room and the hotel is value for money for what it offers. It is located next to Caesar Park Hotel and only 3 to 5 mins' walk from the nearest subway exit. Room is sound-proof unlike some hotels which have thin walls. Toiletries in the room are very comprehensive i.e. shower gel/shampoo/soap/tooth brush/tooth... More
