We spent a weekend at the Riviera. Our room was commodious, clean and quiet, with extra space to entertain our daughter and her boyfriend. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful, and we benefited from the shuttle bus to sights such as the National Palace Museum. The Riviera is a hotel of the highest quality but maintains a cosy, comfortable... More

After a sojourn in Beitou we booked this hotel based on tripadvisor comments. The outlook and service are excellent. Great welcome, great service. We booked a room on the 7th floor. It was large but the bathroom. There was a front desk (large room), then the bathroom (so small) and the bedroom which was smaller that the office. It did... More

This is a very nice property, well looked after and with very large rooms. Also, the shuttle buses to various parts of Taipei are extremely convenient and well timed. The breakfast buffet was also very nice with lots of options. The only disadvantage is that the hotel is a bit far from the nearest MRT station - about a 10-15... More

Fantastic hotel--a highlight of our trip! The amenities and size of the rooms were great. Our family of five easily shared two rooms. The beds were comfortable and the hotel provided extra bedding and pillows. The amenities were just right. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the servers were very attentive. We highly recommend... More

Five star business hotel. The room was smaller than expected, there was an office. Excellent breakfast buffet included, great service, friendly staff. Wifi is the rooms often loses it's signal, there could have had more channels available on the television. Very helpful staff, clean room.

Stayed at the Taipei Riviera for 3 nights in mid-February. Our stay was great from start to finish -- convenient location, room and bath clean and tidy, hearty breakfast. Most memorable was the staff -- professional, informative, and welcoming. Fun "neighborhood-y" feel to the location, a quick walk to restaurants, shopping, the Metro and city. We will keep this on... [wrong email used before] Hi please see earlier review of hotel this is for cafe - excellent and great cakes and coffee - some of the best in the district ! I'd suggest you try it. You can see by the pictures the quality of the cakes. Not the best ambience around but the good makes up for it !!!!!!

Only stayed 1 night because my "main" hotel was full. From the moment I got out of the car and into reception I knew this was a nice hotel. And at a very reasonable price on the net. Great room, very spacious. Free wifi. Modern and clean. Very good breakfast with the best bacon I have had in Asia Not... More

Found this hotel on hotels.com. lots of great reviews. Price was well below average for Taipei. Staff is very friendly and breakfast was included. Had one dinner there and the steak was fantastic. 6 course meal! A little off the beaten track but subway very close, which was extremely easy to navigate. Highly recommend

Stayed here during the Christmas period with my family. Hotel was quite nice, not as close to tourist attractions as I would of liked but still a decent location. Staff here were always very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast had a decent selection. Would consider coming back here again.
